Savas bar cócteles — Restaurant in Madrid

My Spanish friends were very proud to show me this place, as I am a cocktail lover, such was my surprise when the waiter, a red haired woman, stopped us from going in. She said that they were busy. So a couple offered us their table as they were leaving, still the red haired woman said NO!, so we offered to wait outside, again the Red haired woman still said NO!. it was obvious that she didn´t like me, there was plenty of room in this place! so I thought maybe that the problem was that we needed to make a reservation before coming and the empty tables or seats at the bar were reserved, but after asking the other clients in the bar and checking in their instagram, they do not take bookings, so nothing was reserved that night! and there was not excuse not to allow us in. Also reading this bar reviews, this is not the first time they do this! they are very rude, they have no consideration for people walking long distances under the rain to come to taste the drinks! we and my friends are decent people, we were not drunk or not presentable, I don´t even smoke! ..I looked around and everyone was young and white! .what do I think? she is racist! as I was wearing a scarf over my hair because of the rain! and I am olive latin skin! to me this is a ·racist bar! i have been around the world and I have never before felt like this! this was a first for me I felt humiliating! Everywhere else in Madrid was nice but this place wasn't! I think this...

It's crazy how so many places have such a good score, reviews and awards! in Spain. It seems like the bar is too low in general. This place could be much better and a good place to recommend, but unfortunately they have some strange problems. Apparently they don't want to employ more staff (because this is in a few reviews), so every "big" group of people might be sent somewhere else, as they can't handle so many people at the same time. I went with a friend only, but we could see how the lady was asking potential customers to wait outside in a very awkward way, even for us. That's crazy.. I would never want to go inside a place where they ask me to wait outside, especially if is not crazy busy. So unprofessional and unfriendly. The cocktails were nice but nothing special, and the bartender made a whole lot of them for like 4 different tables that arrived at the same time, and then some were sitting there for a couple of minutes, because the lady was too busy doing other things. He wouldn't deliver them nor try to pass it over to you.. We were really close to the bar, I could've picked them myself if he would've insinuated that they were busy, no problem. There's such a weird vibe really. Something's off....

This place has the dumbest policy ever. They have plenty of seats throughout the bar but they don’t take too many people at a time because they can’t handle and make the drinks, while clearly having a bunch of seats empty!

I got there with 2 of my friends and we ordered drinks while we waited for our friends (we were going to be a group of 8 total). The room that we were sitting at had around 15 seats. When out friends got there the waitress came to tell us we needed to leave as we were a too large of a group for them to serve, claiming we couldn’t have a room for ourselves, even though we didn’t and there were still empty seats in that room. But it didn’t matter and she was very rude.

She basically said she wouldn’t serve us 🫠 I never experienced something so dumb in my life. If the place is so “”””exclusive”””” they should have less seats inside and work by reservation (which they don’t). Or hire more staff. Either way, horrible service. I would give zero...
