Senza Glutine di Grosso Napoletano — Restaurant in Madrid

I rarely give bad reviews, but this time I will, and it is a pity to do so, because they have a good product.

However, avoid this place. They will happily take your money, but after more than 2 hours of waiting, we still have not gotten our food delivered.

Worse than that, this restaurant of the chain is impossible to contact. They do not pick up the phone, they do not answer on the web.

You end up with the money taken and no food, and no way to know if the food will ever arrive.

There also seems to be comments from others saying the same. Last time I ordered from them, we did manage to get pizza, but it was completely cold, which is an accomplishment, since picking up pizza in person from them and walking 20 minutes to get home, in the cold, results in getting to eat warm pizza.

In addition, while the gluten pizza is not bad, it is not as good as the pizza from the normal Grosso...

Mi madre es celíaca y tiene 85 años , el dco fue tardío tras una vida dura con cuadros diarreicos severos y continuos , anemia y otros síntomas por los q estuvo ingresada en varias ocasiones . Tenía más de 50 años , conocer su problema la hizo ganar salud pero comenzó la vida sin gluten q hace 30 años no estaba de moda ni era tan facil como es ahora.

Por eso cdo hay un restaurante 100% Sin gluten allá q vamos a probarlo !

Este es el caso del de hoy q se encuentra en el Espacio Caleido de la zona 5 Torres . @grosso_napoletano es una cadena y tiene restaurantes por todo Madrid , de hecho hay uno en Paseo de la Habana ,más cerca de casa ,pero es "normal" .

local, zona de terraza , local estrecho y pequeño salón al fondo con cristalera a la zona ajardinada, agradable 7,5/10

Carta , antipasto ,ensaladas , pizzas con tomate y blancas , postres Suficiente. NO HAY PASTA , tenerlo claro 8/10

Cocina , en general nos ha gustado bastante Hemos pedido

Entrantes 📷 vitello tonato, me ha dado por este plato y lo pido sp , rico aq le faltaba salsa 8/10 📷 burrata con cherry y pesto, el secreto es q la burrata sea buena y esta lo era 8,5/10

2dos 📷 pizza Borghese, Base de crema de trufa, mix de setas salteadas con ajo y perejil en nuestro horno de leña, speck y mozzarella fiordilatte con un toque de perejil. Es la unica q he probado, muy rica La q mas ha gustado a todos 9/10 📷 pizza QUATTRO K Base bianca de mozzarella fiordilatte, scamorza ahumada, gorgonzola, lascas de parmesano y albahaca La q menos ha gustado, a los 4 , les ha resutlado sosa 6/10 📷 pizza PROSCIUTTO E FUNGHI Base de tomate San Marzano, mozzarella fiordilatte, prosciutto cotto, champiñones frescos y albahaca. Segun mi hijo es la pizza Base para saber si un sitio es buena en pizzas o no Ha gustado 8/10

Postre : 📷 TIRAMISÚ BIANCO Crema de mascarpone y chocolate blanco con base de bizcocho italiano, amaretto y café. 6,50 Particularmente prefiero el de chocolate negro pero estaba rico 7,5/10

Servicio, agradable y dispuesto Vasos de agua pero los han repuesto bien Han tardado bastante, tanto los entrantes (mas de media hora) como luego las pizzas. Cierto q estaba lleno pero como dice mi hijo eso no es razón , las cocinas y los salones tienen q tener concordancia.

Precio 23e pp con 3 bebidas , 1 postre y 2 cafés

Very strange atmosphere. Was served by a waiter named Carlos who seemed keener on doing cocktail pours with bottles of water than actually serving customers. Got the cheque on the neighbouring table wrong and was incredibly rude to me and wife. We asked for cutlery, which he ignored before we asked again - after which he slammed it down on the table. Just so strange. The other FOH staff were helpful, though the guys in the kitchen were leery. Restaurant has fallen into that grim trap of being a social club for the staff rather than a service for paying customers. If management cracked down on attitude then you’d probably see people coming back. We won’t be, or to any other Grosso for the time being either. Hopefully...
