First , the bartender is so kind and patient !

Then , the feel, the vibe, the classical music playing , in that aged well , very ancient building with a soul

The bar is indoor-outdoor I love the cosy table and very intimate set up That’s what a call a Real Spanish bistro

I go for vermut The meatballs are very tasty and a very generous portion. The tortilla , you wonder how oignons potatoes and eggs can taste so goooood

Two of us stopped into Taberna Mozárabe for a drink and a bite to eat, as it was less than a ten minute walk in the rain from where we are staying. Friendly owners / staff! The Hummus was some of the best that I've had in a long time; the Meatballs were great; and the other Tapas items looked good, as shown in some pictures, but we were to full to try anymore. This is magic place. To have a drink and a tapa here is always a pleasant experience. Everything it’s unique in the tavern: medieval decoration, classic music playing, home-made delicious tapas, generous free food samples served along with all ordered drinks -even when also ordering food, which unfortunately it’s not common in other Madrid bars-, the lovely owners/staff and the people who frequent it.
