Great food and drink, central, but what put me off was the fact that was so expensive and very vain waiters if you compare to the rest of the surrounding area. If you want true tipical food, wine, charisma this is the place to avoid. Two stars are really just because the food and drink are good, everything else, specially the waiters "dedication" was very poor.
Edit: I am still fighting with the fact that a waiter told me to go to McDonald's if I was looking for something cheap... I am sorry but this is not what I expect when I am spending my well worth money in a restaurant. Definitely not going there again, but for those looking for the initial Madrid experience...

However the overall impression is oweful, the tables look and feel greacy, the high noise level is almost unbearable. We were a group of 3 friends and we sat outside, we asked for menu but the waiter said that there is no menu. We were thirsty and we order beers and coke and olives. I was hungry as well and I asked what the table next to us had, appetizers ( salami + some cheese plateau). How much can appetizers be, right?
