Nestled within the heart of Italian cuisine, this bistro restaurant offers a delightful experience, with seating options divided between an inviting indoor floor plan and a charming mezzanine deck featuring a small outdoor space. The wait staff impresses with their warmth and attentiveness, adeptly guiding patrons through the ordering process. Notably, the restaurant boasts a fully automated ordering system, allowing for convenient online ordering and seamless communication with the kitchen, eliminating the need to flag down a waiter.
During my visit, I indulged in the Pasta Ragu di Manzo, a Pizza Salami Piccante, and savored a refreshing Viola cocktail. While the pizza stole the spotlight with its crispy, well-seasoned crust, the fresh pasta leaned a bit too soft for my liking. Nevertheless, the reasonable pricing and generous portion sizes made for a satisfying meal, further enhanced by The Fork's discount, resulting in a total bill of around 33 EUR.
The overall dining experience was pleasant, with the bilingual wait staff proficient in both English and Spanish, ensuring clear communication for all patrons. The inclusion of pictures in the online menu proved especially helpful for first-time visitors, streamlining the ordering process and enhancing the overall...
Read moreWhat a lovely place to go for a meal..... With exception as it's almost the death of restaurants as we know it. Only one waiter for the whole restaurant as you can only order on a qr code, no pre drinks, etc, as you have to complete the order online. I asked for an actual physical menu and we received those but every menu was a different price and still have to order online, some pizza's you can add items some you can't and the one I ordered I wanted chilli on it but unfortunately was told i could only have the oil but that wasn't very hot. We were brought a dip whilst we were waiting, then the wine, then the meal. The pizzas were bland at best and asked for the oil, then salt and pepper, but not much better. We ordered via the fork and discount can't be applied online so he brought over a payment machine and charged us for the dips we hadn't asked for so I refused to pay for that as I didn't ask for that so he kindly removed the item from the bill then took off the 20% discount and we paid. In summary, he probably had to come to our table at least seven or eight times because of the ordering system so it's not actually quicker just more awkward and clinical and not really for us so overall we won't...
Read moreThe âconceptâ is no waiters. You order off a qr code on your mobile. This isnt like big mamma group (bel mondo) where theres human interaction and you pay on your phone. No. These people have done away with the concept of waiters, presumably for increasing margin. The result is ZERO service. We ordered a pasta and 2 pizzas. The pasta was intended as a starter. Obviously it came at the same time as the pizzas to which the waiter said âyou ordered as a mainsâ - sure: because there was no human to interact with in the restaurant. Theres 1 guy covering the whole place and if youre upstairs you wont see him. The food is average to fine, but that theres no service renders the ârestaurantâ experience utterly redundant. Good luck ordering water for the table. And then they ask for a tip at the end. Itâs not really the staffâs fault, i hope the owners discover some shame and hire staff like a proper restaurant....
