Carrefour is expensive, especially this one located in a posh neighbourhood. It has a sweets section that looks amazing and a homemade food section for takeaway. The vegetables are ridiculously expensive and you're better off buying them from the small neighbourhood fruit shops full of fresh products brought from the south. Decent cheese section if you need to prepare a fancy dinner. The meat also looks nice, but again more expensive than the downstairs butcher's or Dia or Lidl. Edit: two products had incorrect prices (double) at the cake station and the 3x2 cheese offer which theoretically had the sign big above two sections of Italian, Dutch and French cheeses, not to mention under each shelf, had, of course cheese not included in the offer. Read moreThis is a bigger Carrefour Market and open 24 hours which is handy. Wide selection of items with fruit, vegetables, meats, bakery, prepared food upstairs. Downstairs is frozen and refrigerated items as well as pantry items, liquor and things like shampoo and cleaning supplies. Prices seem to be a bit higher for some things but the convenience of everything in one place I guess makes it even out. Was happy to find unfiltered apple cider vinegar of all things in the bio section. Lines can take a while if it’s busy but if you’re lucky it flows quickly.
