If I could give zero stars I would absolutely disgraceful place we were waiting at the entrance to be told where we could sit and the woman seen us and did not even acknowledge us and we had to come up to her to ask if we can sit she told us to sit at a dirty table which she later on cleaned. We asked where do we order as we had our mind set on what we wanted and she said we order with her now and than she walked away, after twenty minutes and two toilet trips she still did not appear that we had to come up to her again to take orders after we came up to her we were still waiting another 10-15 minutes the order was then a taken and the food took another twenty years to come which made us very irritated we were in this for over an hour and at this point was ready to leave, the bill came and a service charge was added on, I went up to the till to ask why a service charge was put on they said due to it being summer time, this is the very first restaurant that requires service charge just because of a season , I pay service charge all the time as I don’t mind and restraunts have had great service that I even tip but this one was horrendous it dosent even deserve a service charge, I went up to the staff who than brought out a man, I don’t even know if this man was a manager but he was too much on his high horse he started insulting just because I want my service charge back, even said I was banned if I get service charge back as if this face cares I wouldn’t even step foot back in here even if it was the last restaurant on earth. He explained that there was only six staff members on the floor for the day as if it’s my problem hire more staff if you don’t have the budget than reduce the amount of people that come in the restaurant and remove the service charge it’s not that hard??? I reluctantly returned to this cafe, hopeful for a better experience after my initial disappointment. Unfortunately, history repeated itself. The service was shockingly slow, taking a whopping 20 minutes just to get menus. To make matters worse, they were already sold out of all pastries by 1 pm.
It's evident that the cafe struggles to handle customer volume, and this persistent issue raises questions about their ability to meet basic service expectations. The staff seemed overwhelmed, and the repeated letdowns demonstrate a lack of improvement or genuine effort to address customer concerns.
While my previous encounter involved a 70-minute wait for breakfast, today's experience, combined with the initial disappointment, solidifies my decision to never return. It's disheartening that the cafe's management has failed to rectify these fundamental service flaws despite my earlier feedback.
Regrettably, my return visit has only reaffirmed my decision to steer clear of this establishment. I sincerely hope this review encourages potential patrons to reconsider before subjecting themselves to the frustrating and unsatisfactory experience I've encountered not once, but twice.

70 minutes from the delivery of coffees to delivery of breakfast! Very poor experience this morning. I understand Saturdays are busy but this isn’t high season and the restaurant is open long enough that it should be able to cope with busier times. If it cannot cope with the pressure it should let guests know that it will take 70 minutes for the food to be delivered. Food, when delivered, was very good. Cannot see myself coming here again - I wish I could say the opposite. Discussed with staff and all that could be offered was an apology....

Stood outside waiting for 10 minutes to be seated with staff all walking past and just ignoring us.
When sat down no menus for 10 minutes I asked twice no response so went to the bar to collect a menu.
20 minutes later asked two different members of staff to order they kept telling me one minute one minute and never came over. 30 minutes been at the venue now, no menu no drinks no food.
Finally I went to the bar to order my food and drinks after sitting in pure fustration. Drinks came out iced latte came with no ice in so wasn’t cold. At this point I’d realised it was a lost cause and didn’t waste my time to complain or try and rectify it as the staff clearly didn’t give two hoots.
Food came was lovely shame the service was so abysmal.
Asked for the bill it never came went up to the bar to pay before leaving as couldn’t wait any longer.
The owner of this restaurant needs to step in fast as the staff are going to kill the place. Worked in the hospitality sector my entire life and never experienced anything like it.
