Amazing Supper at Officina 84
OMG GO GO GO!!! You will not regret, I never really tend to do reviews but sometimes you go to a restaurant that is so special that you simply have to shout about. From the very first moment we stepped over the threshold at Officina 84 we were met with true warmth and a wonderful welcome from Graziella. She was very knowledgeable about wine and extremely passionate about food. The menu will not disappoint, its actually hard to choose and we could have ordered it all. We ordered a pizza with Italian sausage and potato and a ravioli dish with butter, sage, and sultanas infused with lemon. The pizza dough is just phenomenal, it is crispy with the right amount of ‘chew’ all at the same time. Apparently it’s all in the fermenting process which takes 24hrs – so well worth it! The pasta was beyond expectation with a flavour that I shall be thinking about it for some time, safe to say every mouthful was savoured. We finished it off with a very tasty Apple Crumble and Ice cream which again had the right mount of crunch combined with cinnamon and fruit. A wonderful bottle of the most reasonably priced wine (can’t remember the name!) followed by 2 limoncellos each! 2 feels very greedy but this happened because we simply didn’t want to leave. Daniel (also one of the owners) came out to chat as well as help front of house and was equally charming, happy to answer any questions and never made us feel as though we were stopping him from getting on! I would have booked again to go the following night but they are closed on Thursdays. Gutted - as we travel home on Friday. Please go you won’t be disappointed, it will be first on our list when we next return. Thank you Graziella and Daniel for the most amazing meal and enjoyable evening we will definitely be...
Read moreStepping through the door of Officina 84, you are instantaneously greeted with the delightful aroma of authentic Italian cuisine. Despite it being a fully booked mid-week night, we were graciously welcomed by our splendid host, who, with a magic touch, managed to secure us a table. An effort that was undeniably above and beyond, but as we would soon find out, this was just the beginning of our remarkable evening.
The food at Officina 84 is nothing short of a culinary spectacle, each dish a tapestry of flavour, masterfully woven together. The authenticity of the Italian fare was unimpeachable, and the taste, simply superb. Our fussy little ones, usually skeptical of foreign flavours, were soon won over, testament to the exquisite cuisine.
Our host, a truly gracious soul, continually ensured we were comfortable and catered for, making the night even more exceptional. It's worth noting her English was excellent, we later discovered she'd spent time in Australia, which likely contributed to her linguistic prowess. Not often do you come across such attentive service, the kind that manages to strike a perfect balance between friendly and professional.
The chef, too, made a point of checking if we were enjoying our meal, an intimate gesture that added a charming layer of personal interaction to the dining experience.
To conclude, Officina 84 is an absolute must-visit. A hidden gem tucked away in the heart of Marbella, serving fantastic food with unparalleled hospitality. We would like to extend our sincerest thanks to Daniel & Graziana for making our evening so enjoyable. Our experience was nothing short of perfect and we can't recommend it highly enough. A genuine embodiment of Italian hospitality on...

Excellent Italian restaurant, cool boutique ambiance off the strip.
Smaller but reasonably good wine selection, enjoyed an excellent tempranillo.
Tuna tartare appetizer - fresh, well prepared, attention to detail in presentation. Beautiful red, not overwhelmed with a sauce as you will commonly find in the area.
Paparadelle Pasta - no complaints, probably not the star of the show tonight. I found myself wishing I ordered the pizza which looks amazing (might try for lunch tomorrow). Otherwise, all good.
One nit for the staff. I think the pacing of courses could be better. Waiting to begin preparation of the main until after finishing the appetizer is a little long. I recommend beginning preparation of the main as soon as the appetizer hits the table.
Overall, great spot, looking forward to...
