This place is an absolute gem and a nice break from the usual, same same in the rest of the resort.
Easy going, nice vibes. Fantastic music always playing.
GREAT and DELICIOUS homemade Italian food. The Bruscetta Parma is amazing, among many other things…. Perfect pizza. Delicious crepes.
Alternative beers to the rest of the resort. You won’t find Tropical or San Miguel here. Instead you will find local independent brews, IPA’s and so on.
And the host, Alessandro. Warm welcomes, great conversations and just a great, hard working guy.
Covid has been tough on small business like this. Alessandro works tirelessly to keep this great place going and always with a smile. It is easy to walk past somewhere like this because there is no one on the street trying to hassle and drag you in.
Support small local businesses like El Palet and I hope you enjoy as...

I paid 5 euros for the pleasure of myself and my girlfriend being berated by the most angry 5ft5 man in the Canaries.
We fancied a crepe and drink on the way home after dinner at one of the many much nicer restaurants in the area. Literally pushing us towards the ATM next door.
If it is customer service that you seek, I suggest, try anywhere but here. And to the impolite manchild that runs this venue, I suggest you learn not to bite the hand that feeds you.
Enjoy the 5 euros Pizza El Palet, I hope you spend on getting some lessons in grace and decorum. Because you have all the grace of a reversing dump truck without...
Read moreThe service was good, the food was tasty, well cooked and was delivered to the table promptly. The drinks were good, especially the pinot grigio blush which was large for the price and of good quality. The staff were polite and friendly. The atmosphere was good, enhanced by the staff dog (he's nice) and music from the 80's onwards.
Our Bruschetta was loaded with fresh tomatoes and garlic (the photo was of the remaining quarter not the whole thing). The mixed salad was generous in size, fresh and crispy. The mains were good too, especially the pizza, half of which is sitting in the fridge for lunch tomorrow. The base was light and crispy with generous and evenly spread toppings.
And when the bill was delivered, it was so obviously reasonable (and the cheapest meal we've had by far in Puerto de Mogan) that I just paid it without checking it - which...
