Restaurante Asia House — Restaurant in Mogán

Cannot fault this wonderful restaurant. We went twice during our holiday because it was so good. The staff are wonderful, friendly and helpful. Service is quick, we didn't have a problem not being able to speak Spanish. Food was hot and delicious. I sometimes find Chinese food a bit salty but not the case here. The Singapore noodles were my favourite I think but it's very hard to decide, everything was great. Additional note, save room for pudding. I had fried bananas with ice cream and fried ice cream (yes - not a typo - fried ice cream!). Both puddings were a revelation! I'd never seen fried ice cream before but it was amazing and I hope I stumble across it again somewhere. Only order one spring roll, they're enormous. It was our first night in Puerto Mogan so we had no experience to go from. Asia House looked busy and attractive, and there was no one pushing us in so we plumped for it. What a great decision, the waitresses were very attentive, spoke perfect English and the place was spotlessly clean. The menu was not too extensive, which I prefer tbh. My wife ordered green Thai curry and I spicy Thai chicken, it was nice to be asked how spicy we liked our food too. The two dishes were very different flavour wise and equally spicy, chicken very tender and vegetables crispy. Wine was good quality too, and beer very cold. Absolutely lovely. Delicious food. Not greasy at all. Food was fresh and appetizing also deliciously spiced to your wishes. The new lovely gentle waitress , Canarian born, but of Chinese origin, was a breath of fresh air. She helped us choose our dishes and looked after us throughout the meal yet being busy all the time The main BOSS was also a young pretty woman with smiling eyes and a keen sense of business. All in all, a very nice evening...comfortable wicker tables and chairs and a wonderful working antique coffee making machine. My husband loved the coffee...best ever !!
