My first tapas experience in Murcia. I was used to tapas served in malaga, ordering a beer and choosing a relatively cheap tapas to enjoy with it. Once seated in cafe del arco, I was able to order a beer and wine after trying to make eye contact with the waitress for 10 minutes, she must have thought I was trying to cheat on my girlfriend since she angrily looked at me before turning her head 180 degrees. I was finally able to order once her boss pointed to our table and explained that we probably wanted to order something.
Once the drinks arrived we enjoyed them for a bit before ordering a salmons rolls and a cuttle fish croquets. Both were tasty, however only one piece per dish is served.
Then for the second round we ordered a russian salad (3 euros) and 1/2 portion of jamón (9,50). Thinking we could share a larger meat dish and smaller salad together. What arrived was a small plate with a couple of slices of jamón. About the same amount I bought in the carrefour this morning to put on my sandwich. Keep in mind this was 1/2 portion. The full portion would cost you 17,50 (such discount). Luckily I was able to rinse the taste with a bite of russian salad before it was finished. A picture of the luxurious jamón is included.

Wandering through the old town with Paulicarus and Jorvic we stumbled on this lovely square (Plaza Julian Romea) so time for a couple of small beers (2.3€ each) . A nice shaded spot outside this modern cafe. They have a menu of the day for 11.95€ but only just had breakfast. Had one marinera (2.60€) between us. Very tastey.
