Restaurante Sal & Pimienta — Restaurant in Nerja

Upon arrival at the restaurant, it was very nice. Greeted friendly by the waitress and asked for our drinks order. We ordered our drinks and then a starter which was fantastic. Unfortunately this is were the experience changed, we ordered two pizzas for mains and they came out undercooked. Upon telling the waiting staff this, they said they would re-cook the same pizza. Again when this pizza came back for the second time it was again still undercooked. At this point we went to complain because we were not going to pay for undercooked pizzas. We then spoke with the manager who told us “I’ve sold 100’s of pizzas a day and you the only one with problem” we then spoke to the chef of the restaurant, who informed us that not only did the restaurant not have a pizza over, but DID NOT even have an oven at all. My partner asked for them to remove the pizza from the bill however all the “manager” did was shout at my partner and tell her she was the one that had the problem. When I then went to speak to the manger, he then started shout at myself and muttering under his breathe before finally one of the other waitresses said they would take the pizza’s off the bill.

Overall this experience has been totally ruined by the managers attitude and the lack of respect he has for his customers, coming from a person that works in hospitality it makes me sick that managers think it’s approximate to speak to customer in the way he did.

Unfortunately..... 0/10 from me and I’ll go back tomorrow to leave them Gordon Ramsey’s...

Ticked all the boxes. Chosen for its aspect, looks cosier than the much larger more clinical looking Jamaica up the street. There is a nice outside space with screen displaying sport. Don't let that put you off: chosen to watch an evening match, at no point was volume oppressive- feels more like a restaurant with screens than a bar. Staff were helpful and offered us a spare table inside, even though most were reserved that evening. We chose outside terrace as screens still visible. Opposite a larger hotel so good spot to people watch. Food was surprisingly good. Kebab and chips hit the spot: arrived in a wrap with thinly sliced, well seasoned chicken. Nice balance of onion and salad. Waiters did their best not to block any views while screens displaying, and are well versed at managing when the place gets...

Went here tonight for dinner. It was really busy but service did not suffer .I got avocado cocktail to start. It was amazing. Beautifully presented and with prawns, avocado and salad. Himself got garlic bread which was not on the menu but the really nice waitress sorted this. My main course was to be spaghetti with prawns, mushroom and cherry tomatoes. The chef "forgot" the prawns ... The poor waitress was so apologetic. It wasn't her fault. How could a chef forget a main ingriedent......? Still I would go back for the food but not the...
