This bar is very bad for colored people, and the waiter simply ignored all the guests except white people. I seriously doubt the owners and waiters of this bar are racist. When we asked if there was an empty seat, a very âpoliteâ white woman jumped right into our line and walked in. I know it's normal for white people to do that to people of color, but to my great disappointment, the waiter turned a blind eye and shrugged at us. I was very surprised. Having lived in UK for a long time, I thought everyone would be polite and sensible, but that's not the case. Very disappointed for this country, hope it can improve its mistakes and become a better EU country. Shame on you!!đ¤Žđ¤Žđ¤Ž
This is a reply for the merchant reply:
First of all, please review the question carefully. The question we asked is racial discrimination and does not involve LGBTQ, so the gay friendly bar you said has nothing to do with our problem. No matter whether I am gay or not, I should not be offended because of my race. Second, your claim that your store clerks are multicultural doesn't explain how your white store clerks treat different races differently. The hiring of a shop assistant is the business of the boss, and the behaviour of the shop assistant is the business of the shop assistant. Please don't confuse the two. In the end, your answer was perfunctory and arrogant. I'm the one being treated unfairly, and you're using the victim theory to blame me. It's like when you hurt someone and they accuse you, you simply say, 'oh, it's just your imagination.' My comments will affect the sales of your shop, of course you will say so, that is to be expected.
In general, you are very arrogant, you use irrelevant concepts and rhetoric to brush off this negative comment, which is not a good example for a business, because you only managed to respond in a timely manner, while attacking...
Read moreMy visit to Coto Bar was very disappointing. We asked for a bigger table but were refused, so we placed some of our belongings neatly on a shelf nearby. A staff member moved them without asking, and when I briefly rested my foot on a wine box (which was perfectly safe and undamaged), she sharply told me to put it down as if I were a child. She spoke to me in a patronising and intimidating way, even accusing me of being rude when I wasnât. I just talked to her defending myself. This happened in front of my friends and left me embarrassed and upset. I did speak with the manager afterwards, and he was very kind and understanding, which I appreciated. However, the behaviour of the staff member completely ruined the experience. This girl ( mid 40s with pony tail) sheâs bringing lots of shame to such a lovely place I wanted to visit for looong time moreover she seemed more interested in asserting power than offering hospitality. Well if sheâs been raised this way I canât blame her. Be kind to your guests bc they pay your wages. I hope sheâs aware of this. Coto Bar has a nice atmosphere, but staff training in respectful communication and customer service would make a huge difference, Until then I really cannot...
Read moreWas initially sat by a table with old men chain-smoking, so we moved ourselves elsewhere. Ordered the tortilla de patatas and the gambas al ajillo - the tortilla was so overcooked and underseasoned that it was like eating bland shoe leather. The mouthfeel of the gambas was akin to undercooked fish cake, and the only flavoring appeared to be pure capsaicin - only heat, no actual flavor. We left the gambas untouched.
Asked for the check, which waitress gave - other waitress ran the card and clearly didnât tell the first one, which led to an awkward interaction where the first waitress implied that we were trying to dine and ditch.
Wanted to get something quick and casual before a tour, and wound up with nothing but...
