We stayed at the Puro Grand Hotel in August for my Wives birthday. The hotel is situated a short walk from all of the sites and attractions. We booked the double deluxe room, which was really spacious and felt really luxurious. The bathroom was one of the biggest we've had in a hotel and the double rain shower... wow!! massive doesn't do it justice. it was bigger than my ensuite at home. We loved the little Juliet balcony. I enjoyed my morning espresso pods that they refilled daily. Only criticism is space for unpacking clothes. If theres double occupancy in one room and you're staying for 5 nights, be prepared to live out of your suitcase. Again the room was spacious so it didn't feel cramped.||Breakfast was ok. It can't say it was my favourite. I ordered scrambled eggs daily and it came out differently every time. Having said that, the selection at the buffet continental was good, very fresh and lots of tasty pastries. The staff were pleasant and never rude, but did seem overwhelmed at times. ||We didn't dine at the hotel for lunch or dinner. They do have a restaurant, though it never looked busy. there is a rooftop "plunge" pool, it is only a few feet deep. And lounges are available up there too, though we didn't use it. ||We did use the complimentary beds at Puro Beach. There was a minimum spent of 40 Euros per head, but that was easily spent by the time you have lunch and a cocktail. It was great fun and the free shuttle bus was good. Just book it in advance. ||Just one thing to note, be mindful that if you're offered a refreshment drink upon check in, its not complimentary. You'll be billed. Also check in was for 3pm. we arrived early and was told we could store our bags and we'd be called when our room was ready. Unfortunately the change over of front desk staff clearly didn't brief the oncoming staff member and we decided at 5pm to head back to find out our room was ready hours earlier. Not really an issue as we explored our surroundings, but just one to note.||Overall, the hotel is beautiful, the room was comfortable and spacious and I would highly recommend for those wanting a little bit of luxury whilst being close by...
Read moreOur stay at the Puro Grand Hotel in Palma was nothing short of exceptional - an experience that blended luxury, warmth, and thoughtful design in one of the best locations the city has to offer.
First, the location is unbeatable. Nestled right in the heart of Palma’s Old Town, the hotel is perfectly situated for exploring charming streets, local shops, historic landmarks, and top-tier restaurants - all just steps from the front door. Whether you're strolling through the nearby alleys or heading to the marina, everything feels incredibly accessible.
The culinary experience was another highlight. Breakfast each morning was a treat, with a standout pastry and fruit selection that was not only delicious but beautifully presented. The hotel shares two breakfast buffets with the adjoining Puro Hotel Palma, allowing for a wider selection while maintaining an intimate, boutique feel. Every morning felt fresh, indulgent, and relaxed.
From the moment we arrived, the customer service was thoughtful and attentive. We were welcomed with chilled cava in our suite and a handwritten note - an elegant, personal touch that set the tone for the rest of our stay. Staff were consistently accommodating, including extending flexibility around our check-out time so we could fully enjoy a Hammam experience without feeling rushed. It’s clear the team genuinely cares about their guests' comfort and overall experience.
The aesthetic of the hotel is stunning - tastefully curated with an eye for detail that elevates every space. Our suite was especially romantic, with a plush, comfortable bed and all the small luxuries you’d expect from a five-star boutique hotel. Everything from lighting to materials to layout was clearly designed to create a sense of calm, elegance, and intimacy.
Without hesitation, if we find ourselves back in Palma, we will absolutely return to the Puro Grand Hotel. It’s rare to find a property that strikes such a perfect balance between style, substance, and service - and this one does it...
Read moreFrom the moment we checked in until 24 hours later, we were unable to access our room efficiently. Every single time we tried using the key card to our room it would not work. Our keys would work to open the door to the lobby but never to our room.
Each time we wanted access to our room, we had to go to the front desk in the other building with the main lobby to ask someone to re program our key card. Each time we told them the keys were only not working to our room and something was not working just with our door. We never were greeted with an apology or even concern for our inconvenience. They would just reprogram the key and hand us the same one. After the 3rd time we explained that this was every time we tried to get into our room and it was becoming frustrating but were just handed updated keys and told to try again. On the 4th time after they did the same reprogram the key didn't work at all and we were locked out of our room. After trying multiple different keys, and even the master fob of an employee's we were able to gain access. It was during this time that the hotel finally realized there was a bigger issue with our door and they agreed to send maintenance. We left for the day, returning 7 hours later and maintenance had not come to fix our door. We had to go back to the lobby for the 5th time and re explain what was going on. Finally, about 10 minutes later maintenance shows up and fixes the door in a few minutes. This was a full 24+ hours after we first checked in and after 5 visits to...
