An Unexpected Gem in Palma.. Absolutely Perfect!

We ended up in this part of Palma because of a flight cancellation, but stumbling upon this restaurant turned our day around completely. From the moment we sat down, everything was spot on!

Let me start by saying: everything we tried was absolutely delicious. You truly can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. We began with the Meze platter, and it was a standout. The baba ganoush was the best I’ve ever had—smooth, smoky, and bursting with flavor. The hummus was creamy and well-balanced, and the falafel had that ideal contrast: crispy on the outside, soft and perfectly seasoned inside. The kubaneh, dolmades, and pickles were all spot on. They were fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care.

We also shared the shawarma plate, which was tender, juicy, and seasoned to perfection. Every bite was a delight.

If I had to give one tiny piece of feedback, it would be about the pita bread. For a place named Byblos (renowned for Pita Bread), I had high expectation, but it was just okay. But honestly, that’s a minor note in an otherwise flawless experience.

What truly elevated the meal was the wonderful couple who runs the place. They were warm, funny, and incredibly welcoming. They were able to add a personal touch that made the experience even more memorable and felt like you were at home with family. The tea was lovely, and I highly recommend saving room for the knafeh. I was beyond full at this point, but we still ate it all!

Since we had enough of everything and wanted to have an oriental dinner on our last day before flying back to Vienna, my wife looked for a Lebanese restaurant in Palma and we decided to give this nice restaurant a try. I had to drive 20 min. from the hotel but it's really worth it. I do not know where to start. From the entrance to the end, we had much of love and very welcoming atmosphere. The property is new and very clean, food is great no doubt and full of love as if i had my dinner at home. The owners are amazing, incredibly generous, beyond kind and professional. They even played with my daughter and gave her something to draw. They speak multiple languages (Spanish, German, French, Arabic and English for sure). They offered a plate of "Moutabbal" for free and at the end sweets with tea, but we were totally full that could not take their very kind offer. And guess what? All the fantastic food and excellent service is offered at a very fair price and a lot cheaper than else where in Mallorca. I was more than happy to leave some tip, but they deserve more than that anyway. Shall we manage it tomorrow, we will come for lunch before the flight, otherwise we wish the beautiful couples (the owners) all the best with this new restaurant.
