This is a very popular Galician restaurant in Palma centre. Because they’re specialized in fresh seafood, we focused only on shellfish and fish dishes.
The scallops were fantastic (probably the best we’ve ever had) and the gambas al ajillo were also very good. But, the fried seafood platter was underwhelming, the calamar was tough, the croquette was meh and the fried fish weren’t crispy enough. If I return, I would definitely choose the classic Galician octopus instead.
The atmosphere was also nice and the service attentive, though the place was extremely busy during our visit (it was a Sunday night). We left feeling that we had enjoyed the experience overall.
Unfortunately, later that night both my wife and I became quite unwell, suffering from severe nausea until morning… We cannot say for certain whether this was the food itself or something else. So, we try to be optimistic and hope this was just a one-time issue or maybe related to how oily and heavy our choices were. Otherwise, this restaurant has a...
Read moreDuring my recent visit to this restaurant, I had the pleasure of enjoying their Grilled Octopus, and it was truly exceptional.
The moment the dish arrived, I was captivated by its presentation. The octopus was beautifully charred, with a slight crisp on the outside that added an inviting texture. Upon taking the first bite, I was amazed by how tender it was—perfectly cooked to retain a slight chew while remaining incredibly soft. The balance between firmness and tenderness was just right, making each bite a delight.
The seasoning was simple yet masterful. A drizzle of olive oil enhanced the richness, while a touch of lemon added a refreshing brightness that complemented the natural flavors of the octopus. The subtle use of herbs provided an extra layer of depth without overpowering the dish.
Overall, the Grilled Octopus at this restaurant was a standout dish, both in terms of flavor and execution. If you’re a fan of seafood, this is...

I opted for the special menu (€38pp) but every dish tasted off and the presentation was more reminiscent of a mediocre hotel buffet than a proper restaurant. My main course, a lobster dish, was undercooked and communicating with the staff was a struggle as they didn’t seem to understand English well.
When I pointed out the issue with my meal, they took the lobster back but insisted on clearing my plate and serving dessert while I was still waiting — which made no sense. Throughout the meal, the waitstaff appeared impatient and disengaged, making the whole experience even more unpleasant.
Overall, terrible food, poor service and a frustrating dining experience. Definitely would...
