We were so heartbroken with our dinner this evening. We visited their other restaurant two nights ago and LOVED it so we decided to visit this one on our last night of our holiday as the other was closed. We were the first people at the restaurant and unfortunately it took over an hour to receive our starter which we didn’t receive- instead we got our mains. We explained how disappointed we were and it was explained they had an issue with their ticket system in the kitchen. We understood but this should have been explained to us sooner, instead of leaving us to wait. Our mains were nice and we were then given our starter free of charge. Unfortunately the dough was nowhere near as good as when we had it two nights previous at the other restaurant which was a huge shame. We were also left without cutlery for this starter for a long time so I had to get up to ask inside for this. When we received our bill, we were eager to pay as we had already been there way over two hours and were simply fed up. We have taken the receipt and realised, we have been charged for two things we never ordered. We are extremely disappointed as we were so excited based on our experience two nights ago at Santa Chiara Raimundo. We highly recommend that you visit Santa Chiara Raimundo for better quality food...
Read moreWe chose this restaurant as it has an excellent rating for pizzas. But when we arrived we decided to try the menu of the day/domingo. We're so glad because it meant we tried new dishes, and they were superb. The aroncini was lovely but the gorgonzola and pear pasta was really good. The service was extremely friendly and helpful. They were wearing t-shirts with something written on the back. We asked what it was and were told it said "the hand of god". This is a reference to the infamous goal by Diego Maradona in the 1986 World Cup quarter finals, when he blatantly cheated by using his hand to pat the ball into the net! We had to laugh, as we were clearly the only English in the restaurant, which is mainly staffed by a lovely team of Argentinians!!! And let's face it, Argentina are always going to play more attractive football than England!!!!!!! I highly recommend this restaurant for wonderful food and service, a great local vibe, and fair prices. Oh and the pizzas looked...
