Chalet Siena — Restaurant in Palma

The restaurant looks amazing but doesn't expect miracles. For the price range of the restaurant, I would expect a high standard of service and food. Neither happened. We ordered a bottle of white wine. The waiter brought us a glass of wine and a bottle of water. I understand that mistakes can happen. But then he came 2 more times because he didn't remember which wine we wanted. The food wasn't good at all. My partner had a wagyu burger. The meat was too dry. I had a vegan burrito with guacamole. I got a burrito with a slice of hard, unripe avocado. There is such a big difference between guacamole and avocado. The only positive was that I got sweet potato fries which were good. The menu is so confusing. The German translation is bold so it looks like the headline. There is no explanation of what the food contains. When we complained about our food experience, the waiter said he would pass it to the kitchen. No manager deal with it. Nothing. For restaurants with this price range is essential to have a manager dealing with problems. Save your money and rather try some other...

Had a lovely dinner at Chalet Siena. The place has a really nice, modern atmosphere with a mix of wood and greenery that gives it a cozy yet stylish vibe. There was also a live DJ playing relaxed house music, which created a great mood without being too loud.

I ordered the Mozzarella Buffala with Mallorcan tomatoes as a starter and the Signature Strip Loin Tataki as my main. The tataki was excellent, but the mozzarella starter tasted a bit plain. We had to ask for balsamic, olive oil, salt, and pepper to enhance the flavor.

The Hugo I had to drink was refreshing, it tasted a little bit sour, which is not so common for a Hugo, but it was still good and the staff was very friendly and attentive. Prices are a bit higher than other nearby restaurants, but the overall experience makes it worth considering.

I visited this restaurant last weekend, and unfortunately, my experience started off on the wrong foot due to the blond tall hostess at the door. From the moment we arrived, she was extremely rude and unprofessional, not just to my group but to other customers as well.

She barely greeted us and seemed annoyed when we asked about a table. Her attitude was dismissive, and she made us feel unwelcome. I noticed other customers being treated similarly, with a lack of basic courtesy or respect.

A welcoming staff sets the tone for the whole dining experience, and this behavior was unacceptable. I hope the management addresses this issue to improve future customer experiences.
