Clandestí Taller Gastronòmic — Restaurant in Palma

Clandestí is to come with your most free and open mind to enjoy to the absolute fullest! It is a very fun and electric place where the whole team works super hard and in a very well coordinated way but they don’t just do that. It’s a multisensorial performance where they put all their hearts and they play very different styles of music to awake inside you the right vibe that will go well with the food that is being served. It’s not only music what is added to the experience but also the lights will be turned off to feel the food in a very different way where the rest of your senses will need to be more fine tuned. They have a small selection of natural wines, Camille who is the sommelier will do her best for you to have the best time. Such a great host!! But really everyone gives their best. It’s actually very inspiring to see a very young team giving 300% of themselves. What they do is not easy, it requires a lot of discipline and love and passion, which they definitely have! We were very disappointed with our evening at Clandesti. Having read reviews we were looking forward to an experience dinner to celebrate a birthday. The food was not to our preference but it was also lacking good taste. However, we were willing to put this aside for the overall experience but we did not receive this. There was no explanation for each course, sometimes we were not even told what the food infront of us was. There was very little interaction from the staff and we had to remind them on several occasions that we had ordered drinks that were forgotten. The wine we had was very nice but when we wanted to order a second bottle, they did not have another so we could not continue drinking it. Between the food, staff and atmosphere Clandesti was absolutely fabulous!!!! Starting with the food, a fantastic mix of fine dining with a chilled and relaxed environment. Every course we had blew us away and by the end of the 12 courses I was absolutely stuffed. The staff was so extremely friendly and had a high knowledge of every course when explaining it to you, they take the time to answer all questions and truely care for everyone there. The atmosphere is laid back and friendly, you feel like you are great friends with everyone and the music adds a special touch to every second of the night.
