Had a reservation for 12/20 at 7 pm. Promptly greeted and seated by chef Dino, who runs the show by himself. He explained the menu and gave his recommendations and was very friendly. The rose was a great start as it was special to the region with its distinct blend. 9/10 Spicy garlic shrimp- amazing and everything I was hoping for when I ordered this dish. Cooked to perfection in the dish of oil, roasted garlic, hint of lime, and spices. He offered bread to go along with this dish which was a great addition to soak up the delicious juices. 10/10 Octopus leg: grilled nicely and tender with some red sauce and mashed potatoes. Could perhaps use a tad more seasoning on the octopus legs itself but it was tender. 9/10 Iberian pork cheeks- savory and tender over a bed of mashed potatoes. The sauce was great but a tad salty for myself. 9/10 Roasted corn “ribs”- fun way to eat the corn ribs with your hands and the corn had a delicious char taste that was blended well with the sour cream on top. 9/10 Tagliata- amazingly tender beef strip with a chimichurri sauce, arugula, and cheese. 10/10 Orange tart- homemade with oranges from Soller and no gluten. Very fragrant and not overly sweets great end to the meal. 10/10 Overall, I had an amazing dinner and experience with Dino. He provided a memorable meal and dining experience that has been the best on Mallorca so far. The place is very charming with a mix of modern and vintage decoration and a very nice welcoming atmosphere. We were fortunate to get the last free table! We ordered several dishes (the cod fish, roasted beetroot, gambas al ajillo, seasonal roasted vegetables, among others) and they all were OMG delicious!!!! I can’t decide which one I loved best actually. Each of them surprised us with the delicacy of flavors reflecting the high quality and freshness of the regional ingredients combined in very original and tasty ways. In addition I need to mention that the whole experience is the great value of this place. Not only the amazing food but the owners attend the restaurant personally and this made us have a memorable diner! The Chef Dino is coming personally to every table, to greet you and explain the dishes! His wife Adriana is also a great host. We had a great conversation about Mallorca and she was able to provide us with key connections, useful recommendations and hidden tips on the isle. In summary, I would say that this is a place where tapas meet gourmet standards in a welcoming authentic and cozy environment where the owners bring their very best!! On arrival we were very glad and surprised to find the restaurant had been decorated with balloons - they truly went above and beyond to make the occasion special. The food and drink were excellent with the service to match - we were attended to throughout the evening with no faults.
For our pre-wedding meal we wanted our guests to experience the high quality of food we have found in Palma while retaining an authentic feel.
