We went to this place twice during our stay in Palma. The food is very good and authentic. The first time we visited they didnot have the Tumbet which one of our friends suggested. Second time we had the Tumbet, a typical Mallorcan dish, and it was quite good. But my favourites are the fishes, be it the fried anchovies or merluza or sepia. We had a mallorcan sepia dish which I enjoyed very much. We also had the sobrasada on our first visit which to me was okay. The place has a very unique vibe, quite different from other restaurants in the area. The servers are prompt and friendly. The place is huge but gets quite busy during the lunch hours.

We came here looking for a Mallorquin experience, this restaurant has been open for over 60 years, and the deco will definitely bring you back. The service staff was very attentive, helpful, and aware of diners. The bread that was brought to the table was not from the day, felt couple days old, hard, and not fresh. We got charged twice for the bread as well in the bill. We ordered some of the mallorquin specials the Tumbet and the Lomo con Col. and also an entrecôte. The Tumbet was very tasty mix of grilled vegetables with tomato sauce. Recommended The Lomo con col, which consists of cabbage wrapped parcels of pork tenderloin. Sadly mine was cold in the inside telling me that they had it already prepared and stored in the fridge…as it was my first time ordering it I even asked if it was supposed to be cold on the inside, and they reheated the whole plate making the side fries very soggy. The staff apologized multiple times, but the kitchen really screwed this one for me. The entrecôte came with fries, we ordered it low cooked which is a medium rare and that they brought. Going through it we discovered that the cut was not properly cleaned before cooking, having pieces of tendons and vein looking pieces (brownish cylindrical).

Celler Sa Premsa is a traditional Mallorcan winery located in the heart of Palma. It is a popular spot for both locals and tourists, and is known for its delicious wines, its tapas, and its charming atmosphere. The winery was founded in 1922, and is still owned by the same family today. The winery produces a variety of wines, including reds, whites, and rosés. The wines are made from grapes grown on the winery's own vineyards, which are located in the Tramuntana Mountains. Celler Sa Premsa also has a tapas bar, which is a great place to try traditional Mallorcan cuisine. The tapas menu features a variety of dishes, including cocas (flatbreads), tumbet (vegetable stew), and sopes mallorquines (bread soup). Celler Sa Premsa is a great place to visit if you are looking for a delicious meal and a taste of Mallorcan culture. The wines are excellent, the tapas are delicious, and the atmosphere is charming.

5 of us came in having good expectations due to recommendations from others. Right off the bat, we were disappointed by the depressing, stale bread. While ordering drinks, we realized the up-charged prices of everything, and they don’t provide free tap water. The utensils weren’t washed well, and the table didn’t seem the cleanest overall with small bugs crawling across. The menus weren’t helpful in detailing the dishes and prices per person. Starting off with the chicken croquetas, we thought that you couldn’t really mess up croquetas in Spain, but we were mistaken. The fries tasted like flavorless middle school cafeteria fries. The Broth Soup was alright but could’ve been made the same with canned soup. The Mallorca Soup was questionable. The mixed paella we ordered was decent, ultimately saving this from a 1-star review.

We reserved a table , but on entering we were greeted by small waiter to whom looked like he had been doing this job for past decades . He pointed us to the tables and said take your pick . It’s was 8 pm . We were provided bread of the house , which was odd cut off ends from the slicing board , stale and dry ! I mentioned to the waiter can you change the bread , he was not happy with my remarks said in the nicest way possible . His service there on end was awful , especially the flat sole , was burnt and crispy . Should have sent it back but he was so un friendly I just couldn’t be bothered , to avoid another situation on a night out in Palma . Waiter was slow and lazy shame been coming to this place since 1980 with my father , but on this occasion he has lost our custom ..

We went as family with kids to eat while in Palma. Took various dishes to taste and share. The delivery of plates was messy, some staff was coming cold, others - few at same staff. The boy serving us was good. However the girl on evening shift tonight spoiled the evening totally. The fideuá we order she brought to the table without even showing to us, asked how she serves. We’ve asked for small table nearby as other tables had - that was the point she almost shouted to us. The fideuá was put far from us, on a table servants use, no way to add, no lemon was offered, the only small plate we got and the second plate offered so later was already totally cold. So even if we wanted we couldn’t eat from it, got cold and far from us. Wasted visit and money, spoiled evening.
