Nala Brunch & Coffee — Restaurant in Palma

Had an Avocado bread with a mixture of curry ketchup and harissa, with a porched egg and 8 pommegranate seeds, for 12€. The weird Sauce had way too much cumin inside. Nearly every bite contained big Salt rocks that gave this strange taste an inedible finish. And the coffee was more sour than the Orange Ginger juice. And it was loud as hell inside. If the waitress would have asked me how i liked it, i surely would have told her about that fundamental lack of cooking skills or possibly taste receptors of the kitchen staff. Nala had big shoes to fill as the previous restaurant that occupied this storefront is a local favorite. It was one of ours as well so we came with high expectations and Nala’s team did not disappoint!

It’s evident that the chef/owner cares passionately about his craft and guests. The menu is creative with unique ingredients, dishes and drinks are executed nicely, and the service is warm and genuine. Always really friendly staff - Good coffee and we tried the Bacon and Egg on Toast as well as the Overnight Oat style dish and both were superb. The bread used was excellent, the eggs light and fluffy and I would definitely order the Oat/Chia dish again. A great new addition to the Palma coffee shops :)
