✨ A Hidden Gem for Brunch Lovers & Families Alike ✨
We stumbled upon this absolute treasure of a café tucked along a peaceful, tree-lined street—and what a find! From the moment we arrived, it felt like a breath of fresh air. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with cozy hanging chairs that practically beg you to curl up with a coffee or a good friend. 🌿☕️
The food? Divine. Everything we ordered was bursting with freshness—from vibrant salads and greens to creamy, near-perfect avocados. The eggs were cooked to perfection, and the bread was thick, hearty, and deeply nourishing (the kind that makes you feel like your body is saying thank you). Every detail felt intentional and lovingly prepared.
What truly won us over, though, were the thoughtful touches that made our chaotic little family feel so welcome. There’s a sweet, well-kept play nook for kids—perfect for giving grownups a moment to savor their brunch. And the staff? Patient, kind, and utterly unfazed by our two “live wire” little ones. 🧸💛
Clean, beautiful, delicious, and kid-friendly. What more could you ask for? If we’re ever lucky enough to return, this will be one of our very first stops.
So grateful for places...
Read moreLet’s just start by saying WOW! That was truly an amazing brunch I just had at Monty’s. The vibe is a like niche little cozy cave, may be a weird description but it sort of felt like home in a weird and comforting way, safe to say, I enjoy it!
Now the actual wait for the food was a bit long but this is also the kind of place that you come to without a rush and just enjoy the vibes. The guy in the bar had a super cool vibe and the waitress was really sweet to us.
Now to the actual food, the first thing I told my friend when the food came out was “hell yeah”. Suuuper fresh and the curry sauce was OOOOUUTTT of this world! Absolutely perfect with the signature German charm, it was stunning. Eggs were creamy and nice and the sourdough bread was nice and crispy. The summer bowl was suuuuper on a hot summers day like this one. We loved absolutely everything and for the quality of product (service, establishment and food) it is absolutely 1000% worth it.
I will be back again,...
Read moreThat’s funny to read how locals complain regarding the prices. I mean they are fine paying half of that price for tasteless, dry as a “piedra” grey bread or even baguette, moistened with olive oil to make it easier to bite, jamon serrano for 90 cents a pack and the same tasteless cheese that doesn’t even melt. Oh, and so called coffee for 1.9eur from a coffee machine that is cleaned once a year. And the coffee beans from mocay, cafe rico etc. Just keep going like that and hope you get more “guiris” that appreciate what you do. The others can have pamb oli or pintxos with coffee included, thankfully there are other cafeterias in abundance. The only thing I would recommend is to take care of the facade of your place, it would be good to have it washed from dogs. The waiters might be more attentive to the others but not only the ones who they are coming out to serve...
