Holibikes Tours & Coffee — Restaurant in Pollença

A good place here in polenca, were we went several times before with good food and coffee!!!! This review is about a service situation & experience i made. And I was thinking twice if I will make the review or not but I think it’s not OK to treat people rude or showing the finger. I kindly asked for a table, and the girl who was serving me said I can’t use a laptop or only use the table at the window that is available for people to work or use a laptop. but this was unfortunately blocked. My intention was not using a Wi-Fi etc.. I just wanted to check emails on my laptop While enjoying a good meal and coffee like others do it on the phone. I kindly asked again if I could use another table instead. I was at the time, the only person next to the other Two people that said at the window. All other tables were free. But the service said to me I can’t sit at any other table and use my laptop with the reason that they are a small business…. I was irritated about the reason they gave me and was left alone. my impression was not they have interest at all to sell me a coffee or trying to keep me as a guest, after my question. Nor I don’t want to frame my own rules. But there is no reason to show someone the finger or treating them rude for asking a question the owner don’t support. I want to stand out! They serve great coffee and food and this review is based cause of a rude behavior.

Add on, to the owner comment: And has nothing to do with framing my own rules. Your business your rules! It’s the way you respond. You can respond friendly even when you don’t like what a customer is asking. And the way the service responded to me wasn’t friendly, while saying I want to work, which I didn’t want. If checking mails is work, many smartphone users might work then too. As any other business owner you must deal and handle then when you treat someone unfair/ inappropriate and you receive a critical reaction based on that. There is no reason or verification for showing the finger!! Your finger reaction is the reason why I downgraded my review from a 3 star to a 1 star. Terrible coffee shop. Gloomy room. No aircon. Slow and rude services. We came here because the photos looked modern and they looked like a legit coffee specialist. But the photos are completely misleading, this is a sad looking room with no external light, the photographers must have brought their own mega floodlights for the photo shoot. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had an outstanding experience at Holibikes Tours & Coffee! The coffee, matcha, and food were superb. The avocado toast was delicious, and the homemade banana bread and almond cake were to die for! Alejandro, the owner, is awesome—super friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for great food and drinks in a cozy atmosphere.
