I don't like lamb as it tastes too strong for me but here, I was surprised to enjoy it—my husband's main, not mine. 😉 Ordering it next time for my main!

One main and perhaps dessert is usually enough. The last time, we had crema de berenjena for starter then one main for each and I couldn't finish mine so I took it away. And what a lovely surprise for it to come with a personal message bag! 🥰 And yes, their baklava is to die for! And it tastes twice yummier if you eat it with your hands!!!

Delicious food — and in Pontevedra! The chicken dish my hubby ordered reminded him of being in the Middle East! (It was a huge thing because he usually complains and rarely is impressed or satisfied with restaurant food after having worked and travelled almost everywhere.) And surprisingly, I liked the chicken so much that I could devour it in a jiffy when I only like our "native/semi-wild" chickens back in my country.

And Ana, oh she has the superpower to remember everyone's names even after not seeing them for a while.

Things to note: Weekends are busy and it's only Ana serving so it's better to go on weekdays. If you really have to go on a weekend, already select your order ahead of time so you can just order right away. Or perhaps come earlier.

Those with celiac disease have to inform the restaurant 2 days before for them to cater to your special dietary needs.

There are no words to describe how special our dining experience here was. The service was absolutely perfect- we were welcomed into the gorgeous restaurant, decorated with such beautiful Turkish lamps and fantastic colored rugs and beautiful art, by Ana, the wonderful co- owner. She was so attentive and passionate about not just the food, but our experience as her guests. We were guided through the menu and could not have been steered in a better direction. Each course was unbelievable- we ordered pretty much everything! Muhammad, the other owner, is such exceptional chef, as well as a such a kind soul. Congratulations – everything was truly perfect. This is a well-deserved 5-star review. The evening my family and I dined here, there was only one waitress on duty. She was an exceptional person, smiling throughout the entire service, even while single-handedly managing both the dining room and the kitchen.

Although there was just one waitress and one cook, every dish was freshly prepared; nothing, to my taste, seemed reheated. While briefly stepping away to use the restroom, I caught a glimpse of the kitchen and saw this same waitress personally kneading pita bread.

When it came time to settle the bill, I offered her a tip, but she politely declined. Along with the outstanding service and the warm, welcoming personality of the person who greets you, I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant for its superb...
