As a regular customer, I'm posting this review to do 2 things:-
Firstly, to highly recommend the lamb pinchos morunos, perhaps even better than the lamb chops, and secondly, to respond to the negative comments from Waldos Miller and Josef Miligui of a few days ago
I was the customer with whom the owner chatted that day and saw what happened. It seemed to me that the 2 gentlemen took exception to being told they couldn't sit at the only 6 seater table in the (small) place and had to sit outside because all the (few) tables inside were reserved. And I saw them react with what seemed to me like excessive irritation - and then abruptly leave - when they were referred to the menu QR on the table, which is standard practice in the city. Indeed, it was compulsory during Covid and might well still be, as - apart from blackboards - I haven't been seen am actual menu for a very long time. I have seen the owner serve customers dozens of times and have never witnessed poor service. Quite the opposite. As the gentlemen are German, I suspect there was a communication problem as the owner doesn't speak German and only speaks a little English. Either that or Messrs Miller and Milgui are the sort of people who like to be disappointed and angered so they can write bad reviews. Without - in this case - ever tasting the food. It's a little ironic that the first word used by Mr Miller is 'arrogant'. This is the adjective most used by others to describe the Germans.

En primer lugar, recomendar encarecidamente los pinchos morunos de cordero, quizás incluso mejores que las chuletas de cordero, y en segundo lugar, responder a los comentarios negativos de Waldos Miller y Josef Miligui de hace unos días.
Yo era el cliente con el que la dueña charló ese día y vio lo que pasó. Me pareció que los 2 caballeros se opusieron a que les dijeran que no podían sentarse en la única mesa de 6 asientos en el lugar (pequeño) y tenían que sentarse afuera porque todas las (pocas) mesas adentro estaban reservadas. Y los vi reaccionar con lo que me pareció una irritación excesiva, y luego irse abruptamente, cuando se les remitió al menú QR en la mesa, que es una práctica habitual en la ciudad. De hecho, fue obligatorio durante Covid y bien podría seguir siéndolo, ya que, aparte de las pizarras, no he visto un menú real durante mucho tiempo. He visto a la propietaria atender a los clientes docenas de veces y nunca he sido testigo de un servicio deficiente. Todo lo contrario. Como los caballeros son alemanes, sospecho que hubo un problema de comunicación ya que la propietaria no habla alemán y solo habla un poco de inglés. O eso, o los Sres. Miller y Milgui son el tipo de personas a las que les gusta estar decepcionados y enojados para poder escribir malas críticas. Sin, en este caso, nunca probar la comida. Each dish was so flavorful and unique. We basically just asked the server what she recommended and had three courses of an amazing food journey. Seriously good quality. Everything was new and interesting and flavorful to me and my 3 companions.
Never had Moroccan food? Me neither, until now. And I’m so glad I took the plunge.
One reason I’m writing this review is so that I can remember the place. If I ever come back, I’m coming here!

Expertly managed by Ilhem, Rafael was too busy cooking, service was excellent. The hummus appetiser with their home bread nicely helps to open the appetite. The falafel for starters served with a sweet apricot sauce and cherry tomatoes drizzled with extra virgen olive oil was soo good 💯🔝. Light, slight crispy on outside so tasty inside which paired well with the sauce. The lamb chops with patatas bravas served with a peppery and a pesto sauce was good.
