Casa Paché — Restaurant in Puerto de la Cruz

You are advised to book to get a seat at Casa Paché and it’s easy to see why. It’s a gem!!

Located in one of the town’s prettiest streets, one you could easily walk past, this is the equivalent of eating a top menu in someone’s house.

Service is helpful bright and enthusiastic. They have menus in multiple languages, a menu which is simple to navigate.

We sat inside although most will want to sit out. It is spacious, bright, lovely (in some cases quirky) decor.

The food is super. I had the Goat (cabra) and it is the best meal I’ve had on the island. My wife had fish and squid which was great. The portions were filling without being stupid!!!

It’s a must visit for an authentic Canarian meal in an idyllic setting which seems off the beaten track but is in the heart of the town.

Our first visit here was faultless,the food was impeccable and the street is so lovely any curtness by staff was easily forgotten. We ate Cherne, Calamares, and goat which were all delightful and the only reason this is getting as good a score as it is. It was so good we chose to visit a second time......

However, on our second visit, I ordered rabbit which was reminiscent of chicken (I've cooked and eaten both plenty of times and never come across 'rabbit' that was so pale and insipid) and the calamari was practically inedible, to the point that my son had to spit out unchewable squid. It may be that they rushed the calamares as the waitress initially took down our order incorrectly but it was a real disappointment to finish our holiday on. My advice - give this place a go but...

Omg this little restaurant located down a picturesque alleyway lined with beautiful greenery and large pots was a fantastic find with its authentic rustic charm and character. Staff friendly and welcoming, we both had 3 course meal each, every course superbly presented and delicious. As well as 3 courses we had 2 servings of the warm bread rolls and garlic mayo, litre bottle of water and 1/2 kraft of fruity white wine and bill was only €53. Thoroughly recommend this not only as excellent value for money but the food knocked spots off a top end restaurant we had visited the night before for alot more money and nowhere as near tasty as Casa Pache food. By far best restaurant we have been to in Tenerife. Thanks...
