Tropic Burger — Restaurant in Puerto de la Cruz

I have enjoyed my great experience at Tropic Burger. I wish I could give more than 5stars. Food was so delicious and generous portions size at very cheap prices compared with the other restaurants in PuertodelaCruz. Their papas fritas(wedges chips) are so delicious. Loved the taste. And Gourmet burger I highly recommend. One of the best burgers I have ever eaten. Service was good too. I have had special chips with cheese, bacon and salsas at breakfast and was a really massive portion size very tasty. In the evening at dinner I came back and I wanted to try their BBQ chicken wings, but they were ran out of it, unfortunately. So I had the Gourmet burger with chips instead, which was above my expectations . So delicious and tasty..😍😍😍 And the prices were good. They have combo menu. You can combine food with chips and drinks and you pay less than order individual items.. and they have combo cocktails offer as well... The nice smell coming from the kitchen when I passed by, made me try this small place and I don't regret it at all. You have to try at least once their food, if you visit PuertodelaCruz.. the only disadvantage with this place is that they don't have tables inside as it is a small place for bar and kitchen..but the food they cook it is delicious and very tasty. Overall very good quality at good...

Had the weirdest experience today. We ordered some starters, cocktails and two burgers. The waitress doesn't understand english very well but we got there in the end - no problems so far. Starters and drinks were really good. However, after two bites I found a hair in my burger patty and called the waitress. She didn't see any problem with it? Like a strangers hair in your food is no big deal at all? Just suck it up i guess? After a weird moment she took back the burger, didn't apologize whatsoever. I didn't want another burger for exchange since my appetite was gone at that point. I totally get that something like that can happen sometime and had she just apologized or at least acknowledged the mistake of adding an extra human ingredient into the burger I wouldn't be sitting here writing a salty review. But she outright ignored me/us for the rest of the evening and gave us a hard time asking for the bill (plus we didin't get any of the candy that came with the other customers bills. Fine. Whatever.) Could have been a really nice evening with an absolutely human and easy to fix mistake, turned out to be...

Food was cold and it’s a pity the customer service is absolutely horrible, me and my partner came here for late lunch/dinner. We waited an hour and 15 mins for our food to arrive and when we asked where it was we were told we “ordered too much food” (it was our first time here and we didn’t realise that the portions were so big), our order consisted of their standard burger, ribs and fries. Only 2 out of our 3 courses came, after we ate those we asked to cancel our third course as it still hadn’t arrived after an hour and 45 mins of ordering, when I went in to ask this, I was shouted at in the middle of the restaurant and was being ordered to “sit”. This was in front of other customers and my partner so I was obviously very embarrassed. After the two ladies shouted at me, the older of the two was pointing at me, making hand gestures and speaking in Spanish to her colleagues, the male waiter came over and apologised for the other twos actions however I don’t believe it’s enough as the other women didn’t care about how they made a paying customer feel.
