Taberna Mi Manuela — Restaurant in Ronda

We went for a drink and stayed for dinner earlier this week. The entire night was amazing. My Spanish is very basic and the staff were the most welcoming, patient and lovely staff. The food was super delicious! We were able to converse enough to try different wines and they gave great suggestions for food selection. They didn't laugh at my Spanish or dismiss me. They seemed genuinely interested if we liked it and made us feel so welcome (which as a tourist in Spain does not always happen). It was such a lovely atmosphere. Hidden gem in the heart of Ronda! I have no words! We feel so lucky to have been introduced to this place. Everything we ate was absolutely delicious, carefully prepared, and made with love. Even the most classic cold cut, chicharrón de Cádiz, was magical. And what can I say about the timbal salad—simply outstanding. We went with group of friends and our kids. Warm welcome, they put tables for us together outside the restaurant. Staff extremely helpful and nice (the waiter even offered spaghetti off the menu for the small ones - we were surprised he went to the next shop to buy them :)). They have gluten free options. Food really tasty.. everything wa perfect and made our Ronda day beautiful....
