Really delicious looking food. But!! Cheeks were so impossible to chew, even though the kind of fell from each other. Potatoes was hard and some glass like from oil. Both the dry cheeks and the potato’s was so bad, that we did not eat it. The waiter even asked if we were not satisfied, and I told her she could taste herself, there was plenty of untouched food on the plate. But she just didn’t give a d… the scallops were also “killed” in the cooking process. Same with the deep fried cod. Mushroom croquettes were the craziest.. one out of two was wonderful and the other was nasty. One full of mushrooms the other were just kind of trick pancake dough. Nothing better than to be welcomed with the widest smile and the friendliest of people. We were offered a table on the terrace and pampered with the most delicious sangria to accompany the weather, Rocio and Evelin could not be better at hosting us, explaining the menu and all the beauty of it. Then Javi approached us to see if we needed any recommendations or guidance. Rather than messing with the menu, we pleaded him to rain food on us. Came here on a recommendation and loved it. We had 7 tapas for two people, which was about right for us though you could get by with fewer. Really interesting selection. We had two salads, one with foie gras and pear dressing and the other with bacon and goat cheese. Both were great. There was a ratatouille-like mix of grilled veggies and also grilled vegetables on crackers, both delicious. I had the fried anchovies stuffed with ham, also good, and the mushroom croquettes, which were fine but not special. Local Ronda white wine was a fun choice, neither dry nor sweet. We liked it. Service was super friendly, food came quickly. Prices are moderate. Just a great experience all around....
