La "renommée" de C'an Limona est surfaite, et les avis me semblent trop beaux pour être tous honnêtes. Endroit agréable, accueil chaleureux et attentionné. Menu unique.
The "reputation" of C'an Limona is overrated, and the opinions seem too good to be honest. Pleasant place, warm and attentive welcome. Single menu. For 15€: 5 ravioli and a tomato salad. The pasta is OK, unfortunately the tomatoes are too firm, they have never seen the sun and have absolutely no taste. Information taken, they come from Murcia, a region well known for its intensive greenhouse cultivation. The quality/price ratio is not there.
Read moreAMBIENCE The restaurant is very cosy and ralaxing. Music and decoration contribute to the atmosphere.
FOOD AND DRINKS There is no chance for the customers to know in advance that they will not be able to choose from a menu. There is only a single option whith a fixed price that you do not know until you ask for the check.
The owner serves home made food made from fresh ingredients which deserves credit. We had pumpkin soup as an appetizer which was ok but not particularly good. The same applies to the main dish. We had ravioli with tomato sauce. In our opinion the ravioli were cooked just right. Yet, the filling wasn't smooth enough, the sauce was a little boring and the meal itself was dry.
Regarding drinks, we had an overpriced bottle of red wine judging from previous experience in similar restaurants on the island. Not to forget that the selection of wines was small but good.
SERVICE: The owner prepares the food and at the same time services the customers. She does this in a calm way which made us feel comfortable.
All in all we liked the concept but we were disappointed by the food due to the outstanding Google reviews which had raised our expectations a lot. The meals are ok but far...
Read moreMy husband and I took our honeymoon in Mallorca. We made a reservation at Ca'n Llimona in advance and just knew from our first interaction with Claudia (via email) that we were going to have a very special time there. When we arrived, she immediately knew who we were and made us feel beyond special. It is apparent how much passion and love she puts into her restaurant and especially her cooking. Claudia is the hostess, the waitress, the chef and the owner at Ca'n Llimona. Claudia's specialty is her handmade Sorrentinos (which are like ravioli but better). We tried all three kinds and two of her homemade sauces. I can't even explain to you how good they were. We've travelled all around Italy and have not had a better pasta dish. We had such a memorable experience, we came back the next night and ate it all over again. The funniest thing was, the young couple next to us did the exact same thing and we bonded with them over the food. Thank you Claudia for your hospitality. We will be dreaming of your...
