Chaplins — Restaurant in Salou

Visited Chaplins tonight 30-05-24 and 27-05-24. Both nights were absolutely fantastic. Great buzzing atmosphere. Staff were quickly to attend to us, seat us and take our drink order. Drinks arrived minutes later. The acts were absolutely phenomenonal, we visited last year and the acts then were amazing, this year they are even better. The Divas act, dua lipa, Becky Hill were all absolutely amazing. The children's shows were a massive hit with my kids 4 and 9. The comedy show with Max was an absolute stand out for us, we met Max last year at inter 2 were he was an amazing host but this comedy night was an absolute ball. I must also say the new Mangeress is absolutely on the ball with everything and makes sure all tables are attended to and as always the door staff are great and make sure your well looked after. This used to be a great spot for families in Salou, but our recent visit did nothing for us. The facilities are looking warn and tatty, the drinks do not sit well (several of our group refused to return after a dodgy pint), and the entertainment was so bad it was funny. We caught a toy story show and even the kids we surprised at how rushed and silly the whole experience was. It reminded us of an episode of "Hidi hi".

Now as mentioned this used to be a great family spot, and at times im sure it is, but compared to how the rest of Salou and other establishments have updated and changed. It makes Chaplins feel even more aged.

Its not helped that the rest of the street is empty or closed.

Just come bk from a 10 day holiday in salou and we were lucky enough to be staying near chaplins heard gd things about from a friend the year before and weren't disappointed when we went in there this trip was in there most evenings to be fair lol great atmosphere brilliant tribute acts amazing hype up man and the bar staff (jordan,reggae,leon and the girls on the floor (paige,lauren) and of course the bar manager lexie who was amazing asking if we were ok and if we were enjoying ourself and extremely helpful every time we was there cant fault any of the staff like ive said from the doorman to the girls on the floor and the bar staff amazing place highly recommend must place to go if you go salou I no I will be going bk in there when I go bk...
