We visited this place.
I strongly DO NOT recommend this establishment.
My girlfriend got food poisoning. She experienced nausea and vomiting just 5-10 minutes after we left the restaurant. We hadn’t eaten breakfast or consumed any alcohol that day or the day before, so it was clearly the food served at this restaurant that caused the issue.
A few hours later, I returned to the restaurant and informed the manager about the food poisoning. She briefly went to the kitchen and told me everything was fine there. Quite the thorough investigation.
After another 3-4 hours, my girlfriend’s condition worsened, and we had to go to the hospital, where she spent 3 hours on an IV drip.
The next day, I went back to the café and asked for the complaint book. They told me they didn’t have one, which is a clear violation of the law. After about 20 minutes, they finally gave me the chance to write a complaint.
Nobody wanted to deal with my problem. The administrator had a poker face and started focusing on irrelevant tasks that had nothing to do with work.
Then, the owner (I assume) showed up, irritated, asked which hotel we were staying at, had a brief conversation with the administrator in Spanish, and left without any attempt to investigate the situation or offer an apology.
In the end, what was supposed to be a simple breakfast turned into a day lost to vomiting and a visit to...
Read moreWould give this place zero stars if I could !! - AVOID AT ALL COSTS especially if you’re with a bigger party. Place looked really nice but from the minute we got in there the service was very slow even though it wasn’t particularly busy. Once we ordered the food it went down hill. Starters were OK to be fair having mainly ordered steaks for our mains and two pasta dishes they turned up at different times and none were right. We had all ordered medium rare but ever one turned up more than well done, no peppercorn sauce, cold chips and no cutlery. The first waitress who came with the food couldn’t speak a word of English to even know who’s dish was who’s. The mains were sent back after asking three times and a second lot arrived (still no pasta dishes) the food was inedible and the steak tasted funny. We also found a hair in one meal. By this time we had had enough and asked to speak to a manager - nobody arrived and when the bill came we tried to explain we were not prepared to pay for the mains which had all been sent back. When we again asked to speak to a manger the Police were called !! Service and food were shocking yet they still expected to charge top money for it - I do not mind paying for nice food and good service but that was totally inedible and they simply did...
Read moreIt wasn't so bad at the start - the first waiter was very kind, the view is excellent, etc.
The fact that they failed to make Old Fashioned in 3 things - okay, let it be. Sangria wasn't contained alcohol - we drink it like lemonade. But real thresh was with oysters.
So we ordered 6+6, and in the second pack, we found 2 dead and an awful smell. The same waiter (who welcomed us at the start) took away the whole plate without question.
In 10 minutes, another waiter appeared with questions, so we explained once again. Then, after a new delay of 5 minutes, he came back with the same oysters, asking which one -_-
We gave him two dead oysters, and he tried to claim they were good, so we offered him to eat them. With feeblemindedness and courage, he ate.
And finally, the third waiter gave us 2 oysters as a replacement, even though the previous servers had taken the serving forks.
What on Earth was the goal? They're buying oysters for like 1 EUR/piece and selling for 5. He wanted to win 2 EURs by eating...
