Pizza Pan American Style — Restaurant in San Bartolomé de Tirajana

If I could, I would leave a 0 star review. First I asked in a completely empty restaurant if I could sit at this table. The guy who seemed like he would rather be anywhere but there told me "no in that table no". I thought he was joking and sat there anyway, again a completely empty restaurant and the table was not recently used. The guy comes back to the table and asks "so you sat there anyway?". I still thought it was a joke, I ordered one Cola and he just simply threw the menu in front of me and said "pepsi". Still politely said, pepsi is fine. Then he comes back with Pepsi. He asks, very impolitely I might add, what I want. Not what I want to eat, just what I want. I ordered 4 jalapeños and meat lover pizza. He asks what size, I say there are 4 different medium sizes in the menu and said I want a normal medium meat lover's pizza. No word from him when he turns around and walks to the kitchen. He brings the jalapeños after 20 long minutes, those were good cos' they were the frozen ones that you actually cannot ruin. Then after 10-15 minutes, it is already about 30 minutes after I ordered the food (and these are fast food restaurants). He brings me a pan pizza.... I was so pissed for the lack of service and everything that I decided just to pay and find another place to eat. I told this whole story to the guy when I went to pay, he just put the price to the card machine and said "thank you". Best of all, I cannot find this place from the official Pizza Hut website.......... Avoid this place by any means. Update, I just received confirmation from Pizza Hut that they do not have any Pizza Hut in this location, so this is not an...

Just like you, we were pleased to find a Pizza Hut on our doorstep in Gran Canaria. Also like you, we Googled it and saw the awful reviews. In fact, as you're probably doing right now, we were slightly merry at 2am and thought, "Surely it can't be that bad?" and we couldn't find a kebab shop anywhere... So we braved it.

How wrong we were!

A "large" and "custom" pizza cost €33.30. Not great as a starter.

The card machine allegedly doesn't work, so it's cash only.

Then, after the sole lady working there took our order, she proceeded to take orders from another six people - which is fine, but meant our pizza was just a pipe dream at this point.

Still, we lived in hope, and we were hungry, so we waited patiently.

Finally it came, and what a joy it was to behold...!

I lied. It wasn't very good.

It was more like a warm pie than a pizza. It wasn't very hot, it was greasy, it fell apart and it was only the alcoholic haze that saw us through.

So, be warned. Like others have warned you before us.

You might hope it'll be better. It won't.

Plan ahead, go to a shop, and buy some post cocktail bar snacks for when you roll in at 3am.

Ordered from here while on holiday in gran canaria after getting the menu from our hotel reception, when I first placed the order the women who was taking our order could not understand a word I was saying (in English) even though we got told to use the international dial tone so someone who could understand plain English could take the order but no they still couldn't understand and then when the order arrived they had missed several items off our order so I rang back to see where the missing items were apparently they couldn't understand what I was saying at all even though I used the international dial tone again and then after 5 mins of trying to get the women to understand she just put the phone down on me so tried ringing them back several times but they wouldn't answer the phone worst customer service ever DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS PLACE THEY TREAT YOU LIKE YOUR A PIECE OF DIRT ON YOUR SHOE AVOID...
