Plates we loved: Quail with pumpkin soup (the soup has notes of toffee so it’s a little sweet but delicious for just a starter) Guinea fowl salad (the Guinea fowl is breaded but all in all the salad is one of the best Ive discovered) lobster (perfectly done, not smothered in sauce, you can actually taste the lobster! The rice it comes with is also super yummy)

Didn’t like the lamb, the sauce was way too sweet for our liking and you couldn’t actually taste the lamb. Felt like we were eating a bunch of sugar or honey, not a dinner meal.

The service was a little slow at first until they realised we were waiting to be seated. There was no one by the entry and the bar staff adjacent...

We booked a table at the Akana restaurant for diner. Not very well known due to the fact that it’s a big hotel I think. But it’s definitely worth checking it out. The hotel location is impressive and the restaurant’s dining rooms are cozy and well decorated. The plates are tasty with some great wines they have to offer make dining fabulous. And at prices that are very affordable I might add: The staff is exceptionally friendly, helpful and professional. Our waiter Sergio didn’t miss one little detail and treated us as the greatest guests. Everybody of our family had a great time so we’ll definitely be back for another perfect diner...

Restaurant Akara im Lopesan Baobab Resort

Ein romantischer Abend mit afrikanischem Flair, überragendem Essen und einzigartigem Service – das beschreibt unseren Besuch im Restaurant Akara im Lopesan Baobab Resort perfekt.

Schon beim Betreten des Restaurants wurden wir von der beeindruckenden, afrikanisch inspirierten Einrichtung und Atmosphäre verzaubert. Die Dekoration und das Ambiente versetzten uns sofort in eine exotische Welt, die Romantik und Abenteuer vereint.

Das Highlight des Abends war jedoch zweifellos das Essen. Jede Speise war eine wahre Geschmacksexplosion, die uns auf eine kulinarische Reise durch Afrika mitnahm. Die sorgfältig ausgewählten Zutaten und die kunstvolle Präsentation der Gerichte zeugten von der hohen Kunstfertigkeit des Küchenchefs. Jedes Gericht war ein Fest für die Sinne, von den intensiven Aromen bis hin zu den visuellen Meisterwerken auf unseren Tellern.

Ein besonderer Dank gilt Pablo, unserem Kellner an diesem unvergesslichen Abend. Sein Service war einzigartig – aufmerksam, freundlich und äußerst professionell. Pablo sorgte dafür, dass es uns an nichts fehlte und ging auf all unsere Wünsche ein. Seine Empfehlungen und sein Wissen über die Speisen trugen maßgeblich zu unserem hervorragenden Erlebnis bei.

Ein weiterer positiver Aspekt war das exzellente Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Trotz der hohen Qualität und der besonderen Atmosphäre waren die Preise mehr als fair. Wir fühlten uns äußerst wertgeschätzt und willkommen, was den Abend zusätzlich versüßte.
