We’ve been coming to this area on holiday for ten years. Usually we head to the sea front restaurants for dinner however recently we have felt the service and quality has dropped considerably.

We have visited Asia house twice this week as the food is amazing! Sushi, Chinese, dim sum - it had something to suit everyone in our group, including the children. The staff couldn’t be more accommodating. Gorgeous food, great wine choices and made to feel so welcome. Everyone in our group of 12 last night was so impressed. We went for a birthday evening meal here, we was nervous when there is a mix of food cultures in one restaurant. We were right to be! Ordered a red Thai curry, absolutely nothing like a red thai curry. The taste was awful and had unauthentic vegetables in it that you simply do not put in a red thai curry like celery! My partner had the Chinese curry, while the tast was better it was clear that tinned mushrooms had been used in the meal. Lovely staff, surprisingly good house wine, extremely attentive to food allergies; in my case coeliac disease. They served perfect gluten free rice noodles on one occasion and bamboo and mushrooms dish on another. They have gluten free soy sauce. I tried the sushi too which isn't their best, but everything else is worth trying. My husband said that the chicken Sichuan is the best in his opinion.
