We went twice during our stay in Gran Canaria, and both visits were very good. The first time, I had the Asturian steak and it was absolutely perfect. My partner very ambitiously went for the T-bone steak, which was good but not quite perfect. Some parts were very tender, others less so. The second time, we ordered the chateaubriand, which they finish cooking at the table. That was fun to watch, and it tasted good, though the Asturian steak was still the clear winner. They do serve bread on the table when you arrive and add it to the bill, but it’s reasonably priced. Personally, I see this as standard in many restaurants. I remember it happening almost everywhere in Italy. Both times we also received something complimentary after the bill, which was a nice touch. The first time it was shots of Amaretto (every table seemed to get a different bottle, and we had fun trying to guess what it was). The second time, while we were having a cocktail, they brought us a small dessert for free. Very friendly staff overall, which made both visits very enjoyable!

A party of 7 shoved in a quiet corner at the back of the restaurant, no other customers around. Sat down at table 8:15pm. Order taken for drinks quite quickly. Alcoholic drinks came super strong almost undrinkable. Order taken for food shortly after. We were given (didn’t order) baskets of bread with some condiments later charged €14 for. Food arrived at 10pm. Some cold. I had raw chicken. My friend asked for well done steak as they don’t like blood or red. It came medium rare/rare. We sent mine and my friends back and didn’t have a replacement. Seafood spaghetti only came with ham & prawns and tagliatelle not a mixture of seafood. Chicken enchiladas came with very old stale chips. When questioning the bill they wouldn’t budge on much so ended up paying a ridiculous amount for a bunch of drinks!

We came in 20 min before the kitchen starts but it wasn't a problem for them. Got the drinks and not too long after that waiter came with fresh bread, butter, garlic seasoned creme and olive oil with herb. Then we got other drinks and not too long after that came one of best seafood pasta I ate. Looks delicious, taste delicious, everything was awesome! My wife had a vegetable lasagne (big portion) and I had stuffed ravioli with prawns and ricotta. After that we got free Baileys and honey-rum shots and waiter practically left the bottle on the table! Definitely coming back to this place! 5/5

We were there two weeks ago with a group of five people. Two of the meals were fine. Additionally, we had three times lasagne, which all were cold at the inside and too salty.

However, the quality of the food was no big deal. What really shocked us was the pricing strategy. The bill was 17 % higher than the prices in the menu. In the US, I would not mind, but in Europe prices are typically as presented in the menu.

When we discussed the issue, the waiter told us we have to pay an additional Christmas fee of 10 % (at the 5th of January). We found this weird, but since it was mentioned in the menu, had to accept it.

On top, they put the VAT of 7 %. In almost every other restaurant in Spain, VAT is included in the price. During living in Spain for one and a half years and several vacations trips, I have been to many restaurants, believe me. And I never experienced such a thing. We researched the issue. In Spain, every restaurant can feel free to add the VAT afterwards - but still, it definitely is not common practice and it seems to us as a touristic trap.

The waiter was unkind and did not accept to talk to us about the issue. Besides, it was hard to get a water to the table, even though we were almost the only clients in the restaurant.

I just want to warn you - it seems many other customers were happy with this restaurant. I would not go there again and definitely would not recommend...
