There was a nice covered seating area for us to sit in with breeze blowing through the spaced glass screens. There were lots of sparrows (birds) jumping in and out of the seating area. We enjoyed going here and we did so on 3 occasions for lunch. We stuck to vegetarian options this time. During our visits we had Pizza Vegetariana, Focaccia De Romero Y Ajo, Focaccia "Rossa", well done chips and soft drinks. They were all excellent and came piping hot and were substantial. The crispness and taste of the well done chips was really noteworthy. The Colavita Pepperolio Condimento (a red chilli oil variation) was the perfect accompaniment for the pizzas and chips. This sauce was so excellent, we enquired with the really charming and happy young male server who served us on a few different days, if we could purchase a bottle or if he could advise us where to get one. Unfortunately we were not able to acquire one. As this is such a wonderful product perhaps they can stock it and sell it to supplement their income. As it was very hot during our visit to the region, the Bola De Sorbete in a cone, the exquisitely presented chocolate brownie and the chocolate ice cream in the glass were really excellent and tasty cooling remedies, recommended** . One one occasion I even went there to get a takeaway. which I took back to the Resort we were staying at. It was still piping hot. Everything was excellent everytime.
The only thing I would suggest is members of the waiting staff should actively look in the direction of the tables where the customers are sitting as it took quite a while to catch their eye / attention as we needed to order more things. I observed it was the same case with other customers. On at least 2 occasions I physically got up to get them to come to our table to take additional order. Same with the time we needed our bill. Once this is addressed, everything will be 5* based on the food and experience we had.
I have included some photographs of the cuisine we enjoyed as well as the environment...
Read moreWe have been coming here for years ! But tonight is definitely the last visit! The last three times have been appalling! 4 diners, 2 got pasta and by the time we finished the pizzas came along with the garlic bread to go with the pasta! 2nd time. 4 guests. 3 got meals and then we waited ages for the 4th. The head waiter is so miserable it’s unbelievable! Never smiles, never asks if everything ok I really don’t know what has happened to the younger waiter who was there. But they need to bring him back! Tonight. Just the two of us( we live here) so been coming for a long time. We know it’s linked to bandaras! I ordered lasagne. It actually looked like a plate of slop! I ate a few mouthfuls. Actually quite tasty to say how it looked. Got into the middle and it was cold. I let the waiter know. He then fetched me the same plate just warmed up which looked like a bowl of sick ! I sent it back and did not request another meal. I will not be going again or bringing anyone else again. Pizza is soggy in the middle. Never was. So I think they have changed the chef. ! The prices are good but the service is horrendous and the attitude of the staff is they don’t want to be there. Another...
