We just came in and the waitress immediately came up to us. We were told about all the croquettes, about all the fillings. We ordered food to go. They were prepared it very quickly.

The cafe has tables inside and outside. Everything is made in a modern style. To me, the place looks more like a cafe or a pastry shop.

We were there in the evening, there were a lot of people, everyone was running and busy, so we decided to take food with us.

In the cafe, you can order salads, desserts, and main dishes, but probably the most important thing to try here is croquettes.

There is a huge selection of them here. So different, with interesting combinations: with meat, with apples, with onions, with bacon, with cheese with blue mold, with various fish, with tuna.

It is very cool that you can order one of different flavors and try them all.

As for me, the idea is interesting. The result is a combination of a traditional recipe with modern elements. So I think it's worth a try if you're passing by.

Por si no se entera, son los clientes los que mantienen vivo el negocio y las recomendaciones las que le permiten seguir abierto. Muy mala atención al cliente, y encima respuestas con chulería y soberbia. Dos mesas libres en el exterior, donde hacía un calor que rajaba las piedras. Repito, DOS MESAS LIBRES. Solicitamos que por favor nos junten las mesas y abran la sombrilla. Nos comentan que juntar las mesas sí es posible, pero que habría que ver si la sombrilla se puede abrir debido al viento. Si nos hubieran dicho que la sombrilla no se podía abrir, ¡no habríamos esperado! Hacía muchísimo calor al Sol. Total, 20 minutos de espera sin que nadie nos atienda, por supuesto de pie y no hacía viento, ojalá hubiera hecho, así al menos no nos habríamos achicharrado. Los restaurantes de alrededor con las sombrillas abiertas de par en par…. Ante la indiferencia del personal, decido abrir la sombrilla por mi cuenta, estabamos con un bebé de 5 meses pasando muchísimo calor. Ahí, tras muchísimo tiempo esperando a que nos ayuden a juntar las mesas, sí que sale el camarero corriendo, a decirnos que hay viento y no se pueden abrir, alegando que son “órdenes del jefe”, y cerrando la sombrilla casi conmigo dentro. Tuve que agacharme mientras la cerraba para salir, imagínense las maneras y la educación de esta gente. Una pena no haber llegado a probar la comida, pero con semejante trato por parte del personal la verdad que ni apetece. Esto es una respuesta al propietario del restaurante, el cual se ve que tiene muy poca vergüenza ya que ha intentado dejarme de mentiroso. Tampoco me sorprende habiendo visto lo que vi ayer. Perdieron 6 clientes porque se ve que les iba muy bien, con el restaurante CASI LLENO A FALTA DE DOS MESAS EN EL EXTERIOR. Seguro que la atención cambia en otras épocas del año, cuando no haya tanto cliente. Con esa actitud altiva nos quedamos y no volveremos, con gente...

The Cocretería has the best croquetas in La Laguna. They offer a range of unique flavours, such as brie and jam, spinach and ricotta, carrrot etc. There is also a large drinks menu.

The restaurant is really pretty, and located in the centre of La Laguna (so it's a great spot for tourists).

The Cocretería will also prepare large orders, so that you can fry them at home at a later date. I reccomend take away too!
