My very loving husband gave the black rice a 5/5 !! Which says a lot, cos it's the only dish that got past a 4 on our whole trip. It is also quite a generous portion with soft squid inside (feels pretty fresh!). The pork cheeks were good too, with just the right amount of tenderness, although more fries would have been good. The mushrooms was a bit too heavy for us, but it wasnt too bad though a lil too salty. Hubby disagree that it was heavy though. Oh the fruity white wine was pretty yumz too, refreshing! We are considering to return to the town just to eat...

Simply excellent food for a very reasonable price. I'm at the restaurant now (for the second time in a week) as I write this. I have eaten and can recommend: Croquettes Sliced meats and cheese Pork cheek (glorious) And cheesecake. They selected a terrific bottle of red to accompany all of this which was medium bodied (like me), fruity and smokey with robust tannins and a finish of caramel. I don't know how much I would pay for this in London but it would be double what I paid here and...

After reading the reviews we quickly decided to go with Black ricke and Pork cheeks and both were beyond words, so tasty and perfectly done. Black rice was very rich with squids and pork was like butter melting on your tounge.
