The café We the North is an interesting concept that I definitely appreciate – a place like this is a refreshing addition to Tenerife. Overall, I had a positive experience, but I see a few areas with room for improvement.
Menu and Service The menu is quite extensive, which unfortunately seems to complicate smooth service. A smaller selection could help improve both the quality and speed of preparation. For example, removing XL drink options could be a step in the right direction. I would also consider replacing the Chemex and V60 with something more practical, such as batch brew from a Moccamaster, which is better suited for this dimensions.
Interior and Atmosphere The café is located on a corner with large windows, offering plenty of natural light and the potential to create a more open space connected to the street. However, the interior could use a light renovation and a more unified style – the current decor feels a bit too eclectic. A minimalist and cohesive visual style would add more elegance and tranquility to the space.
Overall Impression Overall, this café has a great location and a lot of potential. With a few adjustments, whether to the menu or the interior, it could become an even more appealing destination for locals and tourists alike.

Read moreI am a constant client of this coffee shop and never had a problem, until today when a barista with the long beard was not getting the simple phrase “just more milk for latte than you usually do”. He was convincing that it’s impossible because they make it full, in the end finally starting the process with mean attitude. I think people come for a cup of coffee paying an expensive price without expecting such stupidity and ignorance. I left with a very horrible impression, and will never come back again.
We north coffee was my favorite place in Tenerife and this guy clearly ruined my experience there. Won’t come back again, there are so many other coffee shops that treat their clients well.
He also charged me 10 cents more without telling in advance, when usually nobody does that from other baristas at the place.
Also not to mention the cakes are usually expired , but I was usually buying...
Read moreGreat coffee from educated and enthusiastic owners. As soon as we walked in, we were warmed greeted, given suggestions and talked through the vast menu of drinks. As a coffee geek, I already had my mind set on an Ethiopian V60, however given it was a pretty warm day opted for this to be over ice. The baristas very intelligently decided to up-dose the coffee to water ratio to make it a flavourful coffee even after the ice had melted and diluted the drink. This was an expert move and I appreciated the change.
My girlfriend decided to dry the ice chai latte, which was also delightful. Not overly sweet as you get from chain or lesser coffee shops. It also had a great depth of flavour and was elevated by the hints of cinnamon and nutmeg.
Overall a great experience and coming from London this was a refreshingly...
