La Taberna — Restaurant in San Miguel de Abona

Have been going there for over 15 years. However, the last time I visited.

Poor quality, expensive prices. Non existing service.

I also get the feeling they won't care about this review. As they seem to work on the fast turnover of customers. (The next lot of holiday makers don't know how bad they are.)

To reply to your comment. It's clearly not my fault you don't remember me from my photo. But I can assure you pre covid, I visited tenerife 3 to 4 times a year. (My brother lives on the island. Making it a cheap holiday place for me)

Pop into Arcada with my photo. Ask them if they know me.

The simple fact is your quality has dropped. Not only in food, but the staff. Some of which I remember from before.

Also you need to ask the question. Why did I bother to comment? If was OK, then I wouldn't have said anything.

I have been going here for years. One of the first places I visit on the island. It is a family run bar/restaurant that has lasted the test of time on Golf del Sur. They have a Great selection of drinks, Coffees, juices and food. My partner loves the iced coffee, always drinks it with a smile on her face. The breakfast, salads, and prawns in garlic are a great choice. Alex is very helpful and is Great to have a chat with. He seems to build great rapport with the clientele. Most of the seating is outside with options of shade and sun. It is clean, well run, and the food and drinks are fresh. Shame I didn’t get a Sangria this time. They looked amazing. See you next year. Worst attitude from serving staff we have had in 15 years of going to tenerife. Food was cold and definitely nothing special. Female server was pleasant to other people and down right horrible to us. First and last time we will ever go there. Will be sticking with plaza breeze in the main square where the could not be more pleased to see you and go the extra mile to give you a great experience. They even managed to fit us in last new years eve with a full restaurant and no booking...
