Nice venue, very stylish. Staff are very friendly and the food was good. The lost star is because at about €70 plus tip for two people it's not a cheap meal but the food fell short just a little for me. I had Dabda ravioli thinking if they'd put their name to it, then it might be pretty special. It was nice, the cream sauce was delicious but the ravioli was a little underwhelming, I felt I could have picked up spinach and ricotta ravioli at the supermarket of equal or better quality, sorry. I followed that with cheesecake of the day which was a glass with broken digestive biscuits in the bottom (sorry but some of them were big enough to pull out and dunk in your tea), a creamy cheesecake bit in the middle and a fruit compote on the top. A bit sweet and sickly for me but I guess that's just a matter of taste and I still finished it. Gripes aside, my wife had seafood tagliatelle with squid ink and she loved it! Overall, still a lovely place and the food was actually good, I just felt it fell a little short of 5 stars...
Read moreFound this place just a little further along the road from our hotel during our last night in Tenerife. I'm not a religious man but thank god, we finally found a really night place to have a really nice evening meal. Every other evening dining experience we had in the area has been very mediocre in comparison.
The staff are so very nice, helpful and go above and beyond. The management cannot be more welcoming and eager to accommodate. The food is just the best we had the entire eight days we spent in Tenerife.
I so wish we pushed on a little further during our stay to discover this little gem of a restaurant. We would have come back to dine a few more times so that we can sample the beautiful food Dabda has to offer.
Should we come back to stay in the area again, we will be returning to dine with these guys again for sure...
To the management and staff - Thank you so much for making our last night lovely. We really appreciate it for...
Read moreI would give 0 stars if I could... My wife and I are restaurant people who have almost 100 years of experience as owners , managers and have traveled around the world enjoying all types of cuisine. We had dinner at Dabda and thought the food was quite good so we returned for another meal. The waiter was a little abrupt the first time but we thought the meal was worth the return visit. On our second visit we ordered a bottle of wine and two starters and a main to share. The main was a fish dish that I decided to change as the fish was of a low quality. We were brought two entrees in mistake. When I informed the waiter that there was a mistake he became quite abrasive. No at all professional. I then talked to the manager and he was not helpful at all .. I would not recommend this restaurant! It's too bad because the food is good but the service is...
