Been coming here for two years and The Reef just keeps giving - it is run by the amazing Lauren with the help of the very talented Annie. The waiting staff Angie, Karen and the new young lady go over and above to provide tip top service. A typical weeks visits from my wife Jill and I woluld be: Wednesdays: Quiz Night with a Meal in a Basket. The night is great fun with a simple and fun quiz, a very easy to follow card game called 'Sticky Thirteens' followed by Cash Prize Bingo - this is run by Annie and is great fun - we won 20 Euros last time we played! Fridays: Between 5pm & 6pm is BOGOF on Fish & Chips to die for! Sundays: From 2pm - 5pm is a Roast Dinner of 1, 2, or 3 courses which are truly scrumptious - Lauren is a really good cook! Every blue moon you find a restaurant that is at the top of its game, and our Sunday lunch will stay with us for a long time (in the best possible way!). My boss (wife or HWMBO) had the chateaubriand beef which just melted helped by the delicious gravy. The fresh vegetables were high quality and cooked to perfection, thank you ladies . I could mention the roast potatoes, the Yorkshire, the fried onions etc, etc but you need to judge for yourself and don't miss out. Check out booking by WhatsApp which is a doddle and ask if the gorgeous young singer is working as she really made our Sunday afternoon, the treacle on the pie so to speak. 2nd time I visited this restaurant. 1st time by myself, 2nd with my wife as she wanted to try it. On both occasions half the menu wasn't available which wasn't pointed out by server until I tried ordering. On 1st occasion I had fish which was ok but chips were 'soggy and limp. On 2nd occasion I had the chicken pie. Chips were slightly better than first attempt but still not good. Chicken pie was a very small triangle of pie and pastry was stodgy. My wife had chips on a roll and left more than half the chips. The roll appeared to be at least 2 days old. Not an experience I'll be repeating. I'd suggest if you are looking for a really good fish and chip shop..wait till...
