My girlfriend and I had an incredible experience at Tlaxcallan in Santa Cruz. From the moment we walked in, we felt like part of the family. The food was absolutely amazing – the chicharrón with guacamole was out of this world, and the cochinita was rich, flavorful, and authentic. Honestly, everything we tried tasted like it came straight from Mexico.

What made the visit even more special was the warmth and kindness of the owners. It’s a family-run place, and you can really feel the love in both the food and the atmosphere. They made us feel completely at home – hands down the nicest people we’ve met in any restaurant.

Ayer tuvimos el placer de descubrir una joya gastronómica en pleno centro de Santa Cruz de Tenerife: un restaurante de cocina mexicana auténtica que promete convertirse en referencia obligada para los amantes del buen comer. Al frente de los fogones se encuentra el chef Heron Sedeño, un cocinero con una sólida trayectoria en plazas exigentes como Andorra y Barcelona, que ahora trae a la isla una propuesta fresca, genuina y con mucho carácter.

La cocina de Sedeño no busca replicar clichés, sino ofrecer una mirada honesta, profunda y sabrosa de la gastronomía mexicana.
