Made with Love in Santiago – Cáscara Café

Cáscara Café is a delightful haven that exudes warmth and charm, this cozy café offers a welcoming atmosphere where every detail is thoughtfully curated.

With seating inside or out, the friendly owners greet you with genuine smiles, making you feel right at home. Their passion for hospitality shines through in every interaction, creating a space where comfort and care are paramount.

The menu is a testament to their commitment to quality and inclusivity. With a diverse array of options, even the pickiest of eaters like me will find something to savor! Each dish is made to order, using real, wholesome ingredients. The attention to detail in both presentation and taste is a reflecting of the love and dedication poured into every plate.

Perfect for breakfast lunch or just a coffee break I wish I had a café like this back home. Cáscara Café is more than just a dining spot; it’s an experience that leaves a lasting impression. If you find yourself in Santiago de Compostela, make sure to visit ! —you won’t be...

After a long, sleepless journey across half the globe, I arrived in Santiago de Compostela running on fumes—and craving a good breakfast. Café Cascara delivered. The staff were fast, friendly, and seemed to specialize in rescuing tired travelers. I had gluten-free toast with avocado, tomato, and black sesame (basically brunch runway-ready), plus Huevos Nórdicos with salmon—flavorful, well-prepared, and entirely gluten- and lactose-free. My gut was thrilled. Washed it down with a matcha latte with oat milk. Solid 7/10—good, not top-tier, but did the job. (Yes, I’m a matcha snob.) Bottom line: Café Cascara is a great spot for a tasty, allergy-friendly breakfast or brunch—with enough charm to make you forget the red-eye flight that...

Thank God! A REAL coffee shop that serves up a great cup! The focus on single origin coffees and can tell you the processes used and where it was grown. This means you're getting something different every few week to few months. The owner made me an iced vanilla latte that was excellent. My final drink before leaving was a double latte. They only use whole milk. Steamed perfectly, no sugar necessary. They also have a breakfast menu, smoothies, and perhaps a lunch menu. They are closed one, perhaps two days a week. So check the hours portion of Google maps. I think there's a web site as well. The owner is genuinely interested in...
