We came here for dinner on recommendation and we’re not disappointed. We booked for when it opened - at 8pm and we’re shown to a table partially inside, but outside! The waiter was I think the owners and was very quick and efficient but also excellent at English having spent 24 years there! We ordered 3 main courses - Veal steak (enormous!), Lomo o Raxo, grilled Hake. They were all of very good quality and quantity along with a bottle of wine (Rioja). It was quickly brought to us and very good service was given throughout. The total cost for 3 of us was around 65€, which was excellent value for money. Fully recommend.

On my last day of Camino, my hotel was a bit away from the center, but near this cute restaurant. We arrived half an hour before the kitchen started, but the nice owner served the dinner right away. Food was delicious, me vegetarian appreciated grilled asparagus and goat cheese🥳 Pork was also delicios. Together with few beers and a glass of wine, 30€. The restaurant has a garden, bit also a lot of sits inside. Clientele was I think mostly local, which for me is a good recommendation. Loved the place, loved the food.

Wonderful restaurant - and oh my word the baby squids! Visited this restaurant on recommendation and was blown away by the lovely helpful staff and the quality of the food. The atmosphere (a gorgeous, quiet, cool garden just a few minutes from the hustle and bustle of touristy Santiago) enhanced the experience. We went back three times!!

A short walk from the Cathedral and main streets I found Casa Felisa to be the perfect low cost place to stay. Rather a restaurant with rooms as opposed to a hotel or hostel, Casa Felisa far exceeded my expectations and I would not hesitate to stay there again. I paid for a single room but on arrival I was shown to the most clean and comfortable double room that I have ever been give for such price. I paid 24 Euros. To make my room even better, the view from the window extended out over the outside dining area and across the wonderful picturesque terracotta tiled rooftops of Santiago de Compostella. Everything was clean, modern and well looked after. I also noticed that there was extra bedding in the wardrobe for when the weather turns colder. I did not have ensuite but the bathroom was located immediately next door and that was equally as good as my bedroom. It was more like the bathroom of an expensive hotel than the bathroom of a hostel. The shower worked well with plenty of hot water, shower gel, shampoo, etc were all provided for free and everything was very modern and spotlessly clean. ||I did not dine at the restaurant but the food that was being served was looked delicious. I did however sit in the outside walled garden dining area to enjoy a couple of glasses of Galician white wine. The garden is shaded by a large Camelia tree which creates a peaceful relaxing atmosphere ideal for enjoying a quiet drink or two. Next day a simple breakfast of toast, coffee and fruit juice was provided for 4 Euros.||Some of the staff speak English and some don't, but all were very friendly and helpful. Anyway trying to speak the language of the host nation is part of the fun of travelling. My phrasebook attempts at Spanish allowed me to be understood at all times, even if the staff smiled at my rather badly pronounced Spanish. ||My only regret is that I did not stay longer in this charming establishment. I will return to Santiago one day and I will definitely stay at...

Disappointing Experience at Casa Felisa

We visited Casa Felisa restaurant yesterday, and unfortunately, it was a big letdown. We ordered the Garlic Prawns as a starter and the Sea Bass as our main course. The experience started going downhill with the starter. After trying one or two prawns, I noticed a horrible smell. Initially, I didn't catch it since I had a bit of a cold, but when I did, it was clear that the prawns were not fresh at all. The Sea Bass wasn't any better, and we had no choice but to return the food.

It's a shame because the restaurant itself is lovely, and the staff were excellent—friendly and attentive. However, the food was just terrible. We ended up leaving and grabbing pizza elsewhere, which turned out to be the highlight of the evening.

In summary, while the ambiance and service were top-notch, the food was so bad that I would strongly recommend avoiding Casa Felisa. Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else for a better...
