Food; Spectacular. Service; perfect. Prices; fair. Restaurant; small, colourful. Booking essential. The service is excellent not hanging over you sweeping away every last crumb but patient, attentive, chatty if you want, familiar, perfect. We spent three hours over dinned and never waited for anything. The chef is an artist, loves food and clearly enjoys what he cooks. The food is modern, creative, playful and beautiful. The menu changes constantly depending on the season, the fishing and what he feels like cooking and the standard of his cooking is right up there with the best of them. The char-grilled octopus with olive oil, paprika, sauted potatoes, intense alioli and just a hint of orange was devine. Really lovely restaurant and with lots of locals which is always a good sign. Delicious food and with a different angle - garbanzo soup as a smooth one and chorizo oil. Helpful lady as we didn’t want the chicken course so they doubled up on the fish course. The only down was that my Rape was not fully cooked through and when we mentioned it we were told it’s soft due to the way it’s cooked. However, the cooked part was perfectly white and soft and beautifully done, the undercooked part was blue (not due to the black squid ink sauce that’s a different colour) and I could not cut it which was the important indicator.

Hemos comido muy bien, llegamos al restaurante por recomendación de un familiar que nos habló maravillas del Sashimi de Pargo pero me gustaría recomendarle a la dirección del restaurante, que avisen con antelación a las reservas del tiempo que disponen para comer. Les cuento nuestro caso: Hicimos la reserva el día anterior por WhatsApp y me confirmaron mi reserva con un escueto mensaje que no ponía la duración de la reserva. Llegamos al restaurante 10 minutos más tarde de la reserva (13:55), ofrecimos disculpas por el retraso y nos comenta el camarero que nuestra reserva es hasta las 3 de la tarde, que estaba muy claro el aviso en el WhatsApp incluso en el web site, lo cual yo no he logrado encontrar en ningún lado… No nos da opción de pedir a la carta y nos encomienda a comer el menú, y también nos dice que tiene el turno lleno de las 3 de la tarde, entonces que debemos de terminar antes, le pedimos, a ver si nos podría añadir al menú 2 raciones del sashimi de Pargo, a lo que él accedió. Más tarde entran cuatro mujeres mexicanas a hacer una reserva para comer y les dice que le queda una mesa en el horario de las 3. Nuestra comida va bien y finalmente, apurando un poco llegamos al objetivo de terminar a las 3 en punto. Al salir, casualidad nos cruzamos con las mujeres mencionadas y nos quedamos de piedra al ver que estaban esperando la mesa que desocupábamos. Nos dimos cuenta que nos había mentido para doblar la mesa, cosa que es completamente lícita, pero no creo que mereciésemos ese trato, al final nos llevamos muy buen sabor de boca de la cocina, pero el servicio nos pareció...
