Restaurante Pepe Payá — Restaurant in Santiago de Compostela

This place was absolutely stunning, the food was absolutely divine and the service was second to none. The beef was cooked perfectly with such delicious flavours. The Tortilla was cooked to perfection (the wife was very happy), the croquetas could not have been done any better. But for me the pudding which pepe suggested, the deconstructed mango cheesecake was like taking a trip down memory lane to every solero (ice cream) I've ever eaten. You and your staff should be very proud of the food you serve and the service you provide. The atmosphere in the restaurant was really lovely....

Not entirely sure what happened with our food, based on the reviews by other peregrinos/visitors.

The restaurant itself was lovely, and the waitstaff were kind enough and quick to bring orders when we caught their attention. Things started to fall apart when our food came; the squid and potatoes were incredibly salty. The chicken in the curry salad was also oversalted, with the risotto being the only dish spared the deluge of salt.
