We were booked into this hotel by Santiago Ways tour company. This was the final night of our Pilgrimage on the Coastal Portuguese Camino. It was by far the worst place we stayed! The room was tiny and faced onto the street; at night a street light shown into the room even with the metal privacy shutters down which constantly rattled with street traffic or even the wind; there was also a lot of street noise from vehicles and people. The walls were apparently thin as we heard people in the hallway (somewhat drunk and/or loud) in the early hours of the morning. The front desk was not manned 24hrs; after 8-9pm (I forget exact hour), the desk person left. The Wifi signal was horrible which made taking our "guided COVID 19 test" very difficult. You had to squeeze around the toilet to close the door of the bathroom it was so small. Finally, we were supposed to receive a breakfast from this hotel but got nothing! The only positive was that we didn't find any obvious bugs or mold! If you want a low budget option with more privacy than a hostel, I suppose it's ok but for what we paid Santiago Ways for accommodations and meals, this was a total rip-off and a very disappointing way to end to...

I was very disappointed with our accomodations. The room was tiny, with no space to open a suitcase. My feet hung over the end of the bed. I had ordered a triple to have more space to sleep (a double and a single), but the staff informed us we had been "upgraded" to a double since there were only two of us, right....no refund was offered.
The room was right over the street, without the notable view some reviewers have mentioned. The noise from the street kept us up at night and the walls were paper thin, so we could hear normal conversations in the next room.
This was the most expensive property in our month long trip to Spain and Portugal at well over $200/night. If the cost were $50/night, this review would be quite different, as that would have described a real bargain. Simple pigrims accomodations it was.The hotel was clean and orderly and the staff helpful. But it certainly wasn't...
Read moreWe spent six nights in this hotel and have nothing but praise for this budget hotel. It is central to all the major attractions of the city of Santiago .The bus from the Airport stops just 5minutes from the hotel on the same street, and only cost €1 .A taxi fare is €23. The staff were very helpful and friendly and had good English. The bedroom was spacious and the beds very comfortable. The one problem i had was with the bathroom .The bath -shower had a 50cm edge to climb over and for older people could be a problem, with knee or hip problems.|The breakfast was ok with the usual cold meats ,cheese ,and cereal. if you book this hotel and arriving late make sure you have the code for the door as the reception shuts down at 11pm and 3pm Sundays.|We would definitely recommend this hotel to anybody visiting Santiago, especially if they are on a...
